9 Nights / 10 Days
The Jela Naro Trek, a more challenging version of Drukpath trek, exposes breathtaking views along a ridgeline, showcasing sweeping views of valleys and snow-capped peaks including Mount Jomolhari and Gangkar Puensum. This wonderfully scenic high-altitude walk not only offers dramatic landscapes but also grants access to many remote alpine lakes and encounters with yak herders. Trekking days are short but the trail goes to a relatively high altitude crossing Chemi la Pass at 4500 meters making it moderately strenuous. The trail basically follows the ancient high route from Paro to Soi Naro region and then to Thimphu. This trek can be done vice versa.
