Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati – Shillong

  After morning breakfast proceed to Shillong. En-route visit: Borapani Umiam Lake, Located about 17 km from Shillong, Umium Lake, surrounded by beautiful hills and a picturesque location is highly refreshing. It has water-sports facilities and the nearby Nehru Park has an Aviary and Orchidarium. Arrive at Shillong and check-in at the hotel. After that Transfer to Shillong sight- seeing - Donbosco Museum, the Cathedral Church, Lady Hydri Park and Ward's Lak Evening if time permits visit the local market (Police Bazar). overnight at Shillong . .

• Day 2 : Shillong to Cherrapunji

  After breakfast in the morning, we will proceed to Cherrapunji 56 Km, En-route visit elephant falls, shillong peak later the wettest place on the earth. Enjoy a pleasant drive to see roaring waterfalls leaping into deep gorges, including the famed Nohsngithiang falls. The lovely town is also famous for its limetone caves & Orange honey. Watch the Dain-Thlen falls, Noh-Kalikai Falls, Noh-Sngithiang Falls, Seven sister fall & also drive to the Mawsmai Cave, Arwa Cave, Thangkharang Park and return back to your hotel in Cherrapunjee. .

• Day 3 : Mawlynnong, Dawki - Shillong

  Next morning after breakfast, you will be taken to Mawlynnlong. Mawlynnlong is known for being the cleanest village in Asia and also it has a living root bridge. These bridges are unique formations built by the secondary roots of the rubber trees. The local people net the roots with each other to form a ropeway like structure which after about 100 years becomes strong enough to be used as a bridge to cross the hilly streams. After the sightseeing you will be on your way to Dawki, which has the clearest river water in Asia. . Dawki is located on the border between India and Bangladesh. It is really hard to ignore the crystal clear water of the Umngot River. Boat ride in this pristine river is a major tourist attraction. Travellers enjoy being part of this magnificent scenery and enjoy nearby sights and sounds. Soothing natural beauty of this town and rushing water of Umngot River is a perfect combination for all kinds of visitors either looking for peace or for an adrenaline rush through adventure. After DAWKI you will be on your way back to shillong to the hotel. Overnight in Shillong. .

  After breakfast proceed to Bhalukpong 7 hour drive check in resort / hotel evening visit Nameri Rivar. Overnight stay .

  Morning after breakfast to Dirang . Dirang: is a charming city located in north-eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh. With beautiful apple orchards and impressive sheep breeding farms, Dirang holidays draw travellers for a welcome break ‘Hot-Water Spring’ of Dirang located 4 kms away from Dirang township enroute to Tawang was given a facelift on `10th November 2012 with a social service-cum-cleanliness drive initiated by Dirang General Administration with support from All Dirang.   Morning after breakfast, proceed to Tawang enroute visit Hot Spring, Sela Pass (13,700ft), Paradise Lake, Jaswantgarh War Memorial visit the Monastery - The Tawang Monastery stands on the start of a hill, about 10,000 ft above sea level and has ravines in the south and west, narrow ridge on the north and a gradual slope on the east. It offers an imposing and picturesque view of the Tawang-Chu valley. The monastery appears like a fort from a distance, as if guarding the admirers in the wide valley below. Also visit the WAR MEMORIAL - a 40 foot high multi-hued memorial, has a structure constructed in stupa design. Dedicated to the martyrs of Sino-India War held in 1962, this memorial is nestled among beautiful peaks, which overlooks the Tawang- Chu valley. Popularly known as Namgyal Chorten, the memorial has names of 2,420 dead soldiers. Overnight stay at hotel. .

• Day 8 : TAWANG Bum;la Pass

  After breakfast, visit Bum La Pass. The Bum La Pass is located about 37 km away from Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, at the Indo-China border above 16,500 ft above sea level. It is often covered with heavy snow throughout the year. It is one of the most off-beat passes in the world and is also referred to as the pass from where Dalai Lama entered India escaping from Tibet. Overnight stay at hotel. . .

  Morning after breakfast drive back to Bomdila enroute visit Nuranang Fall at Jang, GRL Monastery(Upper Gompha)- Hooked in the amongst the mighty mountainous ranges of Himalaya, Bomdila in Arunachal Pradesh is a mini paradise, with its Apple orchards, Buddhist gomphas and a magnificient view of the Kameng Valley.
