Day 1 : Delhi
On arrival at Indira Gandhi International airport, meet & greet by our representative & get transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight stay at the hotel.
New Delhi: The capital and the third largest city of India is a fusion of the ancient and the modern era. Standing along the west End of Gangetic Plain, the capital city, Delhi unwinds with culture, architecture and human diversity, deep in history, monuments, museums, galleries, gardens and exotic shows. Comprising of two contrasting yet harmonious parts, the Old Delhi and New Delhi, the city is a travel hub of Northern India.
Delhi is a palimpsest, bearing the complexities, the contradictions, the beauty and the dynamism of a city where the past coexists with the present. Many dynasties ruled from here and the city is rich in the architecture of its monuments. Diverse cultural elements absorbed into the daily life of the city, have enriched its character.
Day 2 : Delhi
After breakfast proceed for full day city tour of old & New Delhi. You will make a visit to Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Lotus Temple, Laxmi Narayan temple, Qutub Minar, Himayun Tomb. Drive past President house, India Gate and Connaught place shopping center. Return to the hotel after sightseeing tour for overnight stay.
Day 3 : Delhi / Sariska
After breakfast at hotel leave (05 hrs) for Sariska, arrive & check-in to hotel/Resort.
Sariska: Although larger than Ranthambore, it is less commercialized and has less tigers but a similar topography. It covers an area of 800 sq km in total, with a core area of approximately 500 sq km. The Northern Aravali Hills dominate the skyline with their mixture of sharp cliffs and long narrow valleys. The area was declared a sanctuary in 1955 and became a National Park in 1979. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 4 : Sariska / Jaipur
Early morning, visit the sanctuary by jeep. In the morning, the wildlife is easier to spot, feeding or playing in groups.
Post breakfast leave (03 hrs approx) for Jaipur & check-in to hotel.
Jaipur: . The city that once had been the capital of the royalty, now serves as the capital city of Rajasthan. The very structure of Jaipur resembles the taste of the Rajputs and the Royal family. In the present date, Jaipur is the major business centre for the natives of Rajasthan with all requisites of a metropolitan city. The city of Jaipur, painted in pink, grasp the appreciation of every visitor. One can see that hoary charm still alive in the avenues of Jaipur. Jaipur is the reservoir of Indian customs, traditions, civilization and legacy.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Jaipur
After breakfast at hotel move out to visit Amber fort, usually pronounced as Amer Fort. In 1592, construction of the Fort was started by Raja Man Singh I. However, the Amber Fort took its present form during the reign of Raja Jai Singh I. An elephant will spare you the trouble of reaching up to the fortress. Once on top, stroll through the sprawling complex of courtyards and halls.
In the afternoon visit the city palace (A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture), Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), Jantar Mantar (consisting of outsized astronomical instruments).
You will be dropped back to the hotel after sightseeing for overnight stay.
Day 6 : Ranthambore
This morning drive (04 hrs approx) to Ranthambore and check-in to hotel.
Ranthambore National Park: This Tiger Reserve lies on the junction of Aravali and Vindhyas just 14 Kms from Sawai Madhopur in Eastern Rajasthan. It sprawls over a varying and undulating landscape. The scenery changes dramatically from gentle and steep slopes of the Vindhyas to the sharp and conical hills of the Aravali. A tenth century fort also blends amicably with the background. Pure sands of Dhok (Anogeissus pendula) interspersed with grasslands at the plateaus, meadows in valleys and luxuriant foliage around the canals make the jungle. Three big lakes – Padam Talab (meaning Lake), Malik Talab and Raj Bagh – are similar turquoises studded in the vast forest that abounds with aquatic vegetation including duckweeds, lilies and lotus.
Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Ranthambore
This morning and afternoon proceed for the jeep / canter safari in the park, famous for its tigers. Today, Ranthambore is one of the major wildlife tourist attractions pulling the attention of wildlife lovers.
Overnights stay.
Day 8 : Ranthambore / Bharatpur
After breakfast at hotel leave (05 hrs approx drive) for Bharatpur, arrive & check-in to hotel.
Bharatpur: The history of Bharatpur dates back to the epic age, when the Matsya Kingdom flourished here in the 5th century BC. The matsya were allies of the Pandavas in the Mahabharata war. According to tradition the name of Bharatpur is traced to Bharat, the brother of lord Rama of Ayodhya whose other brother Laxman was given the high place of family deity of the ruling family of Bharatpur. His name also appears in the state seals and coat-of-arms.
Enjoy evening visit to the park. The expert opinion of the accompanying naturalist will give you a better insight into the dwelling habits of the various species of birds documented in the Park. Make your bird watching experience even more enjoyable with a rickshaw or a bicycle ride to explore the rich and diverse fauna of the park.
Day 9 : Bharatpur / Agra
Early morning visit to Keoladeo Ghana National Park, one of the best bird colonies in the world. Followed by breakfast leave (01 hr approx) for Agra en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, check-in to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 10 : Agra / Delhi
This morning move out for the sightseeing tour of the magnificent Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.
Taj Mahal - "the epitome of love" and "a monument of immeasurable beauty". The beauty of this magnificent monument is such that it is beyond the scope of words. The thoughts that come into the mind while watching the Taj Mahal is not just its phenomenal beauty, but the immense love which was the reason behind its construction. Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan got this monument constructed in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, with whom he fell in love at the first sight. The very first sight of the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love and romance leaves one mesmerized.
Agra Fort – a UNESCO World Heritage site and also known as Red Fort, founded by the famous Mughal emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, is predominantly of red sandstone. Ensconced within is the picture perfect Pearl Mosque, which is a major tourist attraction. It lies on the bend of the river Yamuna, almost in the heart of the town. Akbar built it as his citadel over the years 1563-73 in the finest architectural style. It has imposing gates and walls of red sandstone and a moat.
Later leave (04 hrs approx drive) for Delhi airport to board on flight for onward destination.
