Day 1 : Arrival - Nairobi City
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport, you will be met by our tour manager who will brief you about your safari as you are transferred to your Hotel in Nairobi for rest and leisure in readiness for the next days trip to the Maasai Mara.( If you arrive in the morning, we will take you for a Nairobi city tour in the afternoon which covers – The city Centre, The Animal orphanage, The Nairobi safari Walk, the Giraffe Centre and the National Museum).
Day 2 : Nairobi - Maasai Mara:
After breakfast , you will be received by our tour manager who will then transfer you to Wilson Airport to take your flight to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is commonly known for the 'big five'. It takes about 45 minutes to arrive at the Maasai Mara by flight. You will arrive in time for check in at your lodge in time for lunch. After Lunch, at 4.00 pm, you will be taken for an afternoon game viewing drive till dusk.
The Maasai Mara, now The New 7th wonder of the world and 4th preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine. The most spectacular event of the natural world takes place here; The annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the predators of the savanna; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.
It hosts over 450 species of animals which include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants.
Day 3 : Maasai Mara
Pre-breakfast morning game drive which gives you the chance to see animals hunting, thereafter back to the Camp / lodge for breakfast and rest before lunch is served. After lunch in the afternoon, you can choose to go for more game viewing drive or relax by the pool or visit the Masai villages OR go for early morning Balloon Flight if you can (ask the balloon Flight Captain if you can be fit for the trip)

Take the opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot air Balloon provided at an extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience.
Maasai Mara National Reserve offers an absolutely unique variety of animals. The reason is that this hilly region is both humid and fertile and is crossed by the rivers Mara and Talek full of crocodiles and hippo and which carry water the whole year around. The banks of the rivers are covered in thick forest which gradually makes way for bush and grassland the abundance of water and excellent availability of food are reasons why the Maasai Mara which in fact is a condition of the Tanzanian Serengeti National park has the greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa. There is a particular dramatic “spectacle” from July to November the annual migration of huge herds of gnus and zebras. These herds are of course closely followed by predators such as hyenas, jackals, leopards and lions. There is no place where more of these latter may be seen than in Maasai Mara gigantic herds of over 200 buffaloes can be observed. Plenty of food is available for elephants, giraffes and the many species of antelopes and gazelles all of which can be observed in their natural habitat.

Day 5 : Maasai Mara - Lake Nakuru
After breakfast check out and have an en route game viewing drive as you drive into the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for an evening game viewing drive in the park and around the Lake, which has some rare animals like white rhinos and Rothschild giraffes, Flamingos and pelicans among others.
Lake Nakuru is a soda lake on the floor of the Rift valley. It is famous due to its being a home to about 1.5 million flamingo's and the over 450 species of birds found here. The sight of the millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species - particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. It is a home to Lions, water bucks, buffaloes, baboons and pelicans.Flamingos and other birds that thrive in a salt-water environment can be seen. With luck you may track the white rhino and the Rothschild’s giraffe which both have endangered species status. The spark is 188Km and is home to cats(both lion and leopard), various antelopes, grazers like warthog and then waterbuck and Cape buffalo that breed near the shoreline.
Day 6 : Lake Nakuru National Park
Pre-breakfast morning game drive which gives you the chance to see animals hunting, thereafter back to the lodge for breakfast and rest before lunch is served. After lunch, you will be taken for an afternoon game viewing drive till dusk.
Lake Nakuru National Park is a sea of flaming pink as far as the eye can see. These are the millions of flamingos seeking for their food in the salty deep green waters of Lake Nakuru. The protected area is primarily for birds of which 400 to 500 species can be found here including cormorants and pelicans. However visitors to be Lake Nakuru may also catch a glimpse of Thomson gazelles, impala, water bucks, giraffes, buffaloes or even black rhino and leopards
Day 7 : Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
Pre-breakfast morning game drive, then proceed to the lake where you have the chance to see the thousands of flamingoes and many more species of birds and then back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will proceed with game viewing if you still want some more till lunch time. After lunch, check out for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon ready for check in at Hotel Intercontinental
Day 8 : Nairobi - Amboseli
After breakfast, proceed to Amboseli National park arriving in time for lunch at Amboseli lodge. After lunch, have a rest till 4.00pm when you will proceed for game viewing drives till dusk.
Amboseli National Park; The combination of scenery, people and animals is what makes the Amboseli national park fascinating. Beautifully situated at the foot of the towering Kilimanjaro, it Is the home of the brightly painted Maasai tribe, here you can see lions , cheetahs, spotted hyenas and wild dogs as well as gnus , Kaffir buffaloes , Burch ell’s zebras and herds of elephants . All these animals come to drink at water holes consisting of small lakes or muddy ponds kept filled up by water from the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. The northern lake Amboseli contains water only after rain.
Day 9 : Amboseli National Park
Spend the whole day in Amboseli National park where you can have a chance to a clear view of the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro. The park is famous for the biggest elephants in Kenya.
Amboseli is renowned for its huge elephant herds. Africa's highest Mountain - Mt Kilimanjaro sits on the upper slopes of Amboseli National park. Mt. Kilimanjaro snow white peak lies across the border in Tanzania. Seeing the Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early hours of the morning is quite an experience. For the enthusiastic photographer, animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain is quite a thrill. Apart from the Elephants, Amboseli is a home to; buffaloes, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeest and other plain animals.
Day 10 : Amboseli - Nairobi - Departure
Pre-breakfast game viewing drive if you still want some more then back to the lodge and later check out for Nairobi with packed lunch arriving in the afternoon. You will be dropped off at The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your evening flight departure. ( If time allows, you will be treated to a farewell dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi before being transferred to the Airport).
