Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Srinagar Airport

  Upon your arrival at Srinagar Airport, you will be greeted by our driver cum guide and then proceed towards hotel for an overnight stay in Srinagar. houseboat and embark on a visit to Srinagar, also known as the "City of Gardens."You will explore the famous Mughal Gardens, which include Nishat Gardens, Shalimar Garden, and Chashmai Shahi (Royal Spring) Garden, each showcasing the serene beauty of Mughal designs. Experience nature at its most ornate as you ascend the garden's terraces, which are adorned with polished walkways, colorful plants, and intricately carved water features. Next on the itinerary, you will visit the historic Pari Mahal and Sankar Anchariya temple, both located on a hillock. These sites offer wonderful panoramic views of the entire city.

• Day 2 : Srinagar to Doodhpathri

  After breakfast, embark on a picturesque journey from Srinagar to Doodhpathri. As we journey towards Sonamarg, we'll make several stops at scenic spots along the way, allowing you to capture the beauty of the surrounding landscapes. Upon arrival, situated at an altitude of 2690 meters, Sonamarg awaits with its captivating charm. Here, you'll have the option to explore further by riding on horseback to visit the enchanting Thajawas Glacier, where snow remains year-round. Sonamarg is also renowned as the Gateway to Ladakh, adding to its allure as a must-visit destination. As the day comes to a close, we'll head back to Srinagar for a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay, ensuring you're well-rested for more adventures ahead. • Day 4 : Srinagar to Yusmarg

  After breakfast, set out on an enchanting journey from Srinagar to Yusmarg. Yusmarg, also known as "Meadow of Jesus," is a hidden gem nestled in the lap of the Pir Panjal range. As you traverse through winding roads and verdant valleys, you'll be greeted by breathtaking vistas of rolling meadows, dense forests, and snow capped peaks. Upon reaching Yusmarg, immerse yourself in the tranquillity of nature as you explore its serene surroundings. Take a leisurely walk amidst the pine and fir trees, listen to the melodious chirping of birds, and breathe in the crisp mountain air. Don't miss the opportunity to visit Nilnag Lake, a pristine water body surrounded by lush greenery, where you can indulge in boating or simply soak in the serenity. Spend the day rejuvenating your senses amidst the natural beauty of Yusmarg before heading back to Srinagar in the evening. • Day 5 : Srinagar to Kargil via Sonamarg (201.5 km. / 5 hrs. 30 minutes, Height 2,676m)

  Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel. Today you will be travelling to Kargil via Sonamarg. So, as soon as you finish with your breakfast, leave for your road trip. Sonamarg is known as the “meadow of gold”. The snow-covered mountains of Sonamarg are a beautiful sight to witness. In Sonamarg, you will visit Vishansar Lake, take a drive around the Zoji La Pass and also take a halt at the Shutkari Bridge. Later, you will continue your road trip to Kargil. On the way to Kargil will fall Drass Valley. This is the place where the Kargil war took place and this is the exact location where the Pakistani Army had dropped shells.
  Post that to enter Kargil there will be a passport check, after which you will enter Kargil. Upon your arrival at your hotel in Kargil, complete your check-in process and take some rest before dinner and a night stay.

• Day 6 : Kargil to Leh via Lamayuru (216.6 km. / 4 hrs. 41 minutes, Height 3,500m)

  Today you will leave for Leh from Kargil via Lamayuru. So, after you finish your breakfast, start your road journey. In Lamayuru, you will visit the Alchi Monastery and Moonland. The architecture of the monastery will impress you and that‟s what makes it a must-visit. Moon land is a landscape that you can admire on the way to Kargil. Once you reach your hotel in Leh, complete your check-in process for a night stay and dinner at the hotel.

• Day 7 : Sightseeing in Leh

  Begin your day with a healthy breakfast at the hotel and then head out for a sightseeing tour of Leh.
  The first destination you will visit in the city is Diskit Gompa or also known as Diskit Monastery. The gompa is the oldest and largest in the region. It is located on a slope of a mountain and hence it overlooks the snow-covered mountain peaks of the Himalayan ranges and also offers the view of the Shayok River.
  Your next destination is Shanti Stupa. It is famous for its white dome and holds the relics of Buddha. The architecture of the stupa is what will attract your further. The next destination on your list is the Leh Palace. It is known as „Lhachen Palkhar‟ and was constructed in the 17th-century. It houses a museum too.
  In the evening, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner meal and an overnight stay.

• Day 8 : Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass (160.3 km. / 4 hrs. 43 minutes, Height 10,000m)

  After early morning breakfast at the hotel, you will leave for Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass.
  At Khardungla, which is the highest motorable road you can enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounding mountain ranges and also experience a camel ride. The snow-covered
  mountain peaks make of the perfect backdrop, so do not forget to click some memorable pictures. Spend some time at the pass and then continue your road trip to Nubra Valley. Once you arrive in Nubra Valley check in to your hotel and take some rest before you leave for your sightseeing tour. The first attraction point in the valley is actually an adventure ride of the two-humped Bactrian Camel. This ride is at Hunder village so apart from the camel ride you can also explore the village and interact with the locals.
  Then you can visit the Panamik Hot Springs. These springs have medicinal properties and hence many tourists from over the world come to visit this destination.
  After this fun-filled day, head back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

• Day 9 : Nubra to Pangong via Shayok River (140 km. / 6 hours, Height 4,250m)

  After breakfast at the hotel in Nubra Valley, you will take a road trip to Pangong via Shayok River. The highlight of the Shayok river is that its water is crystal clear. It feels like you can see right through it. The water is so clear because it originates from the high altitudes of Rimo Glacier.
  Later, continue your road trip to Pangong Lake. Here you will experience camping, so once you reach your campsite, get settled in and take some rest. The evening will be your leisure time. Spend time at the lake, take an evening walk and explore the surroundings if you like. By night enjoy a steaming hot dinner meal and an overnight stay.

• Day 10 : Pangong to Leh (222.9 km. / 5 hrs, 22minutes, Height 3,500m)

  Time for yet another road trip and your last one on your Magical Ladakh tour with Kashmir, so make the most of it. Click some beautiful pictures of the journey too, if you wish. Leave for the journey as soon as you finish your breakfast at the hotel. Once you reach your hotel in Leh, complete the check-in formalities and then begin your sightseeing tour.
  If you do not want to go sightseeing, you can also enjoy your free time for the day and visit the local bazaar. If you wish to visit some sightseeing attractions then you can visit the 3 Idiots School and Thiksey Monastery. At night return to the hotel for dinner and a night stay.
