Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : CHANDIGARH TO SHIMLA (120 Km, 3-4 Hours)

  Begin your journey by enrouting towards the Queen of hills, Shimla. On the way visit Pinjore Garden and Barog. After reaching Shimla have a leisure walk in The Mall & Ridge.

• Day 2 : SHIMLA TO SANGLA (240 km, 9-10 Hours

  Morning proceed towards the next destination, the alluring Sangla and on the way visit the beautiful Bhima Kali Temple.
  Bhima Kali Temple: The temple is dedicated to the mother Goddess Bhimakali. The temple is one of 51 Shakti Peethas. The town Sarahan is known as the gate way of Kinnaur. Sarahan is identified with the then Sonitpur mentioned in Puranas.

• Day 3 : SANGLA SIGHTSEEING

  This day one covers exciting and interesting places like Rakcham and Chitkul Village.
  
  Rakcham (Approximate Duration: 1 Hour) : The beautiful village is situated at an elevation of 2900 Meters above the sea level. The beautiful village is located midway between Sangla and Chikul Village.
  
  Chitkul Village(Approximate Duration: 2 Hours) : Located at an altitude of 3450 Meters. It is the last inhabited village near the Indo-China border. The Indian road ends here. Potatoes grown at Chittkul are one of the best in the world and are very costly.

• Day 4 : SANGLA TO TABO (180 km, 7-8 Hours)

  The most exciting part of our journey is towards Tabo. On the way visit Moorang, Pooh and Khab.
  
  Moorang (Approximate Duration: 1 Hour) : A beautiful village the Moorang fort is situated and it offers a great view of the Satluj River. There is a temple dedicated to the local deity Urming whose chariot is taken out only on sacred days.
  
  Pooh (Approximate Duration: 1 Hour) : It is the small town known for its natural environment, green fields, almond trees and vineyards.
  
  Khab (Approximate Duration: 1 Hour) : The village is the junction of two rivers Spiti and Sutlej River. The Spiti River flowing through Spiti valley here meets the Sutlej.

• Day 5 : TABO TO KAZA (50 km, 1-2 Hours)

  Enjoy the magnificent vistas all day and head on for Kaza and on the way visit Tabo Monastery and Dhankar Monastery.
  
  Tabo Monastery (Approximate Duration: 3 Hours) : It is situated at an altitude of 3050 meters. It founded by the great scholar Richer Zangpo in the year 960 A.D. It is one of the most important Buddhist monasteries that are regarded by many as only next to the Tholing Gompa in Tibet.
  
  Dhankar Monastery (Approximate Duration: 2 Hours) : The monastery is around 1000 years old and houses around 150 Lamas. It has ancient murals, Thangkas and Buddhist scriptures that are worth seeing.

• Day 6 : KAZA SIGHTSEEING

  Today cover the beautiful and ancient monasteries like Key Monastery and Komic Monastery.
  Key Monastery : It is the biggest center of Buddhist learning situated at an elevation of 4166 meters above the sea level. It is a home to around 300 Lamas who receive their religious education. The monastery has the collection of ancient murals and books.
  
  Komic Monastery (Approximate Duration: 2 Hours): It is situated in Komic village which is one of the highest villages in Asia. It is one of the biggest and a very old monastery.

• Day 7 : KAZA TO KEYLONG: (200 Kms, 9-10 Hours)

  In the morning embark towards Keylong and on the way crossing over Kunzum Pass and Chandratal Lake.
  
  Kunzum Pass: It is one of the India’s highest motor able mountain passes situated at an elevation of 4551 Meters above the sea level.
  
  Chandratal Lake : The Lake is situated at the height of 4300 Meters above the sea level. It is also known as the Moon Lake as it is in crescent shape. The Ranges around the Lake are called Moulkila and Chandrabhaga. Star gazing from the Lake is breathtaking.

• Day 8 : KEYLONG SIGHTSEEING

  Moring embark on the sightseeing of Trilokinath temple, Gandola Fort.
  
  Trilokinath Temple: The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is the only temple in Lahaul valley that is of Shiker style. According to legends the temple was dedicated to Lord Shiva and then transformed into the Buddhist temple.
  
  Gandola Fort : The castle is built with the wood in the tower type architecture and situated at an elevation of 3170 meters. The fort has eight stories and is made up of stone and timber.

• Day 9 : KEYLONG TO MANALI (120 Kms, 6-7 Hours):

  After exploring the immense beauty of Lahaul and Spiti now enroute towards the beautiful town, Manali.
• Day 10 : MANALI SIGHTSEEING

  One covers interesting places like Hadimba Temple, Club House and Vashisht Bath.
  
  Hadimba Temple(Approximate Duration: 1 - 2 Hours) : Visit the famous woodwork in Pagoda style architecture, dedicated to Goddess Hadimba.
  
  Club House (Approximate Duration: 1 Hour): This place is one of the most favorite attractions in Manali for kids, it has a recreation center run by HP Tourism.
  Vashisht Temple & Hot Spring (Approximate Duration: 1-2 Hrs)
  Dedicated to Sage Vashist this temple has a 4000 yrs history. It has is a natural hot water spring located 3 km from the town. The spring’s sulphar water has medicinal value, which cure skin diseases. Many people take a deep bath and get relief from their ailments.

• Day 11 : MANALI TO CHANDIGARH DROPPING ((320 km, 9-10 Hours)
