Day 1 : Arrival in Kigali
Kigali is the capital city of Rwanda, roughly in the centre of the country. It sprawls across numerous hills, ridges and valleys, and has a vibrant restaurant and nightlife scene. The Kigali Genocide Memorial documents the 1994 mass killings in Rwanda, associated with the country’s civil war. The city’s Caplaki Crafts Village has stalls selling traditional handicrafts, including woodcarvings and woven baskets.
On arrival at the airport, you will be received by our company representative who will transfer you to your hotel for the overnight.

Day 2 : Kigali City Tour
After Breakfast, visit the Genocide Museum, which was opened in 2004 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Rwandan Genocide. Whilst the genocide occurred because of a complex series of factors, it can only be an absolute tragedy to Rwanda and its people. Time spent at the museum is sure to be emotionally moving, but it is an important way to understand the sheer courage and resilience of the people of this beautiful, tiny nation.

Day 3 : Transfer to Akagera National park and evening game drive.
Akagera National Park lies in eastern Rwanda, hugging the border with Tanzania. It's characterized by woodland, swamps, low mountains and savannah. The varied terrain shelters wildlife including zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions and hundreds of bird species, such as the rare shoebill stork. In the southern part of the park, vast Lake Ihema is home to hippos and crocodiles.
In the morning, you will set off a scenic drive to Akagera national park, reaching early for lunch at Akagera game Lodge/similar. After lunch, you will relax and head out for an evening Game drive

Day 4 : Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.
Early morning, you will go for game drives up to the northern part of the park to catch up with early risers before they go into hiding. You will have chance to see lions, antelopes, giraffes, bush bucks among others. Return to the hotel for relaxation by 11:00am, and then lunch. After lunch, go for afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema, where you will be rewarded with view of game as hippos, crocodiles, as well as a variety of bird species.

Day 5 : Transfer from Akagera to Goma
Goma is a city in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is located on the northern shore of Lake Kivu, next to the Rwandan city of Gisenyi
The "Parc National de Volcans" (or PNV as it's known by locals) lies along the Virunga Mountains, with 8 ancient volcanoes, which are shared by Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Just a short two-hour drive from Rwanda's capital of Kigali, the park is a central location for exploring some distinctly Rwandan experiences. While a visit to the mountain gorillas is often at the top of visitor, the dramatic landscape also offers thrilling hiking
After Breakfast, you will head back on the road and drive to the northern side of the country. You will arrive at the Goma Border for the crossing and spend a night in Goma town in readiness for the next day’s Gorilla trekking

Day 6 : Gorilla trekking
After an early breakfast, we will head out to the volcanoes national park headquarters for the briefing before starting our trek to see the Gorillas. Your trek will take approximately 5 hours including the 1 hour with the Gorillas.
After the trek, we will head back to the border and cross back to the Rwanda Side and drive to Gisenyi

Day 7 : Lake Kivu
Rwanda's western side is bounded by Lake Kivu, one of a string of huge freshwater lakes which lie along Africa's Great Rift Valley. Dominating the border between Rwanda and the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo); Lake Kivu is Rwanda’s largest lake, and the sixth largest lake in Africa.
You will spend most of the day relaxing and exploring the local area. The only activity organised for this day is the canoeing activity that can happen in the morning or afternoon depending on the weather.

Day 8 : Lake Kivu to Musanze
In the morning, your guide will pick you and you will be transferred to Musanze for a relaxing afternoon.

Day 9 : Cultural Activity day

Day 10 : Day Trip to the Twin Lakes
Between Musanze and the Ugandan border are two scenic lakes usually referred to as the twin lakes; Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo. They are fed by rivers and a lake in Uganda. The twin lakes area is very scenic, with steep and intensively farmed hills surrounding the pristine dark blue waters. They offer magnificent views over the whole of the Virunga Volcanoes (weather permitting).
After Breakfast, you will be driven to lake Ruhondo, One of the twin lakes. You will be driven to one of the viewpoints where you can be able to spot both lakes and see how the land separates the two lakes. After that you will come and jump into a Boat to visit one of the Island villages and donate a goat to one of the families, Drive round Burera and Ruhondo

Day 11 : Early Morning Airport Transfer
We will head back on the road to the Kigali airport.
