Ayodhya , known for its historical and religious significance. It is often associated with the Hindu epic, Ramayana, as the birthplace of Lord Rama. The city gained prominence due to the Ayodhya dispute, which revolved around the Babri Masjid and Ram Janmabhoomi (birthplace of Lord Rama) site. The dispute was resolved in 2019 by a Supreme Court verdict, allowing for the construction of a Hindu temple at the site. Manakamana Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati and it is situated in the village of Manakamana in Gorkha District, Gandaki Province, Nepal founded by Arman Rayamajhi
The temple is the holy site of Goddess Bhagawati devi, an incarnation of Lakshmi with Garud as protector. Mana translates as "heart" and "kamana" as "wish" and it is believed that the Bhagwati grants wishes of its devotees.
