Package Overview

Starting an incredible journey with the plains of the Serengeti, taking in the remote parts of Western Tanzania, and finishing with the Mahale Mountains and Lake Tanganyika.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Arusha

  On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met and transferred to Lake Duluti Lodge in time for lunch and 1 night on a full board basis.
• Day 2 : Arusha - Serengeti

  You will be taken to Arusha Airport for your morning flight to Lobo airstrip in the Serengeti. After a few hours drive you will arrive at Serengeti Safari Camp for a 3 night stay with full board.
• Day 3 : Serengeti Safari Camp

  You will have 2 days in which to follow the the game on foot or in your own private vehicle at different times of the day or night as circumstances and your interests dictate.
• Day 4 : Serengeti Safari Camp

  You will have 2 days in which to follow the the game on foot or in your own private vehicle at different times of the day or night as circumstances and your interests dictate.
• Day 5 : Serengeti - Katavi

  You will leave the Serengeti this morning and fly for aproximately 3,5 hours to Katavi. There you will be met and transferred to Chada Katavi for 3 nights on a full board basis.
• Day 6 : Katavi

  Bush walks with an armed guard, and game drives will introduce you to the wild and remote Western Tanzania.
• Day 7 : Katavi

  You may try the option of flycamping or simply explore the area more extensively together with your guide, with the option of doing so in a private vehicle.
• Day 8 : Katavi - Mahale

  After a morning of game watching you will be transferred to Katavi airstrip for your onward flight to Mahale. After a picnic lunch you will be transferred by boat to Greystoke Mahali for 4 nights on a full board basis.
• Day 9 : Mahale

  The various activities available will create many memorable experiences, not least of which will be your trek to see the chimpanzees, and fishing on Lake Tanganyika.
• Day 10 : Mahale

  The various activities available will create many memorable experiences, not least of which will be your trek to see the chimpanzees, and fishing on Lake Tanganyika.
• Day 11 : Mahale

  The various activities available will create many memorable experiences, not least of which will be your trek to see the chimpanzees, and fishing on Lake Tanganyika.
• Day 12 : Day of Departure

  You will return by boat to Mahale airstrip for a picnic lunch before being flown back to Arusha.
