Package Overview

Trip Highlights: Welcome to the theatre of the wild.On this safari you will be able to view various species of wild game including the lion, leopard, cheetah, the elephant and a host of other plains animals. You will visit Nairobi, Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli . You will also be able to see attractions like, The famous Rift Valley, Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Great Annual Migration of the wildebeests – New 7th wonder of the World ; Maasai Mara. In Lake Nakuru, you will get a chance to see hundreds of beautiful perched flamingoes and other bird species as well. You will stay in a roll in shower and handrails wheelchair (disability) friendly room in all accommodations named below and travel in a converted 4x4 land Cruiser all throughout your road transport. You will first visit - The city Centre, The Animal Orphanage, The Nairobi safari Walk, the Giraffe Centre in the morning hours and the National Museum in the afternoon of the second day and then on the third day, fly into Maasai Mara from Nairobi and be joined by our tour Guide / Driver at Maasai Mara National Reserve Airstrip for your transfer to the lodge and game viewing drives plus your entire road safari during your trip.You will stay in top lodges and hotels throughout your safari with disability facilities and compliance.This safari is divided into two parts as follows;

Itinerary:
12 Days / 11 Nights)

DAY 1: Arrival – Nairobi City
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport at 15.05 pm, you will be met by our tour manager who will brief you about your safari as you are transferred to your Hotel in Nairobi for rest and leisure.
All meals and overnight at the Hotel Intercontinental – Nairobi.

DAY 2: Nairobi city tour
After breakfast, you will be taken for Nairobi City tour which covers – The city Centre, The Animal Orphanage, The Nairobi safari Walk, the Giraffe Centre in the morning hours and the National Museum in the afternoon.You will return to your hotel for lunch and refreshments before you proceed to the Kenya National Museum in the afternoon.
All meals and overnight at the Hotel Intercontinental – Nairobi.

DAY 3: Nairobi – Maasai Mara:
After breakfast , you will be received by our tour manager who will then transfer you to Wilson Airport to take your flight to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is commonly known for the 'big five'. It takes about 45 minutes to arrive at the Maasai Mara by flight. You will arrive in time for check in at your lodge in time for lunch. After Lunch, at 4.00 pm, you will be taken for an afternoon game viewing drive till dusk.

The Maasai Mara, now The New 7th wonder of the world and 4th preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine. The most spectacular event of the natural world takes place here; The annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the predators of the savanna; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.It hosts over 450 species of animals which include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants.

DAY 4 &DAY 5: Maasai Mara( 2 Full Days)
Pre-breakfast morning game drive which gives you the chance to see animals hunting, thereafter back to the Camp / lodge for breakfast and rest before lunch is served. After lunch in the afternoon, you can choose to go for more game viewing drive or relax by the pool or visit the Masai villages.
OR go for early morning Balloon Flight if you can (ask the balloon Flight Captain if you can be fit for the trip)
Optional Balloon Flight: Take the opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot air Balloon provided at an extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! If you can spare the money, viewing abundant game afloat a balloon is an unforgettable experience.
Maasai Mara National Reserve offers an absolutely unique variety of animals. The reason is that this hilly region is both humid and fertile and is crossed by the rivers Mara and Talek full of crocodiles and hippo and which carry water the whole year around. The banks of the rivers are covered in thick forest which gradually makes way for bush and grassland the abundance of water and excellent availability of food are reasons why the Maasai Mara which in fact is a condition of the Tanzanian Serengeti National park has the greatest population of wild animals in the whole of Africa. There is a particular dramatic “spectacle” from July to November the annual migration of huge herds of gnus and zebras. These herds are of course closely followed by predators such as hyenas, jackals, leopards and lions. There is no place where more of these latter may be seen than in Maasai Mara gigantic herds of over 200 buffaloes can be observed. Plenty of food is available for elephants, giraffes and the many species of antelopes and gazelles all of which can be observed in their natural habitat.

DAY 6: Maasai Mara – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast check out and have an en route game viewing drive as you drive into the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. After lunch, proceed for an evening game viewing drive in the park and around the Lake, which has some rare animals like white rhinos and Rothschild giraffes, Flamingos and pelicans among others.
Lake Nakuru is a soda lake on the floor of the Rift valley. It is famous due to its being a home to about 1.5 million flamingo's and the over 450 species of birds found here. The sight of the millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species - particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. It is a home to Lions, waterbucks, buffalos, baboons and pelicans.Flamingoes and other birds that thrive in a salt-water environment can be seen. With luck you may track the white rhino and the Rothschild’s giraffe which both have endangered species status. The spark is 188Km and is home to cats(both lion and leopard), various antelopes, grazers like warthog and then waterbuck and Cape buffalo that breed near the shoreline.

DAY 7: Lake Nakuru National Park
Pre-breakfast morning game drive which gives you the chance to see animals hunting, thereafter back to the lodge for breakfast and rest before lunch is served. After lunch, you will be taken for an afternoon game viewing drive till dusk.

Lake Nakuru National Park is a sea of flaming pink as far as the eye can see. These are the millions of flamingoes seeking for their food in the salty deep green waters of Lake Nakuru. The protected area is primarily for birds of which 400 to 500 species can be found here including cormorants and pelicans. However visitors to be Lake Nakuru may also catch a glimpse of Thomson gazelles, impala, waterbucks, giraffes, buffaloes or even black rhino and leopards.

DAY 8: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi
Pre-breakfast morning game drive, then proceed to the lake where you have the chance to see the thousands of flamingoes and many more species of birds and then back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will proceed with game viewing if you still want some more till lunch time. After lunch, check out for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon ready for check in at Hotel Intercontinental.

DAY 9: Nairobi - Amboseli
After breakfast, proceed to Amboseli National park arriving in time for lunch at Amboseli lodge. After lunch, have a rest till 4.00pm when you will proceed for game viewing drives till dusk.
Amboseli National Park; The combination of scenery, people and animals is what makes the Amboseli national park fascinating. Beautifully situated at the foot of the towering Kilimanjaro, it Is the home of the brightly painted Maasai tribe, here you can see lions , cheetahs, spotted hyenas and wild dogs as well as gnus , Kaffir buffaloes , Burch ell’s zebras and herds of elephants . All these animals come to drink at water holes consisting of small lakes or muddy ponds kept filled up by water from the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. The northern lake Amboseli contains water only after rain.

DAY 10: Amboseli National Park
Spend the whole day in Amboseli National park where you can have a chance to a clear view of the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro. The park is famous for the biggest elephants in Kenya.
Amboseli National park is renowned for its huge elephant herds. Africa's highest Mountain - Mt Kilimanjaro sits on the upper slopes of Amboseli National park. Mt. Kilimanjaro snow white peak lies across the border in Tanzania. Seeing the Kilimanjaro hovering above the clouds in the early hours of the morning is quite an experience. For the enthusiastic photographer, animal pictures arising against the dramatic backdrop of the mountain is quite a thrill. Apart from the Elephants, Amboseli is a home to; buffalos, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeest and other plain animals.

DAY 11: Amboseli – Nairobi
Pre-breakfast game viewing drive if you still want some more then back to the lodge and check out for Nairobi with packed lunch arriving in the afternoon for rest and leisure at your hotel. You will be taken for your shopping if you so wish in the afternoon of this day.
Dinner and Overnight at Hotel Intercontinental - Nairobi.

DAY 12: Nairobi - Departure
With parked breakfast, you will be dropped off at The Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in readiness for your morning flight departure
