12 Days Char Dham Yatra From Delhi

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : New Delhi to Haridwar (245 km / 4-5 hours)

  Depart from New Delhi in the morning and arrive in Haridwar by evening. Check in to your hotel, attend Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri, and explore local temples. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

• Day 2 : Haridwar to Barkot (220 km / 7-8 hours)

  After breakfast, depart for Barkot, enjoying a scenic drive via Mussoorie and Kempty Falls (optional stop). Check in to your hotel in Barkot and rest for the night.

• Day 3 : Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot (45 km drive & 6 km trek)

  Drive to Janki Chatti, the base for the Yamunotri trek. Trek 6 km to Yamunotri Temple, take a holy dip in Surya Kund, and offer prayers. Return to Barkot in the evening for an overnight stay.

• Day 4 : Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hours)

  After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, a sacred town on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Visit Vishwanath Temple and explore the town. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

• Day 5 : Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi (100 km each way / 4 hours per side)

  Depart early for Gangotri, visit Gangotri Temple, and take a holy dip in the river. After darshan, return to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km / 8-9 hours)

  Drive from Uttarkashi to Guptkashi, a town near the Kedarnath Range, with an optional stop at Tehri Dam. Check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 7 : Guptkashi to Kedarnath (30 km by road & 14 km trek)

  After breakfast, drive to Gaurikund, the base for the Kedarnath trek. Trek 14 km uphill to Kedarnath Temple. Visit the temple and attend evening aarti. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.

• Day 8 : Kedarnath to Guptkashi (14 km trek & by road)

  Attend early morning aarti at Kedarnath Temple, then trek back 14 km to Gaurikund. Drive to Guptkashi and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 9 : Guptkashi to Badrinath/Govindghat (165 km / 7 hours)

  Drive towards Badrinath, stopping at Joshimath en route. Visit Narsingh Temple in Joshimath before checking in to your hotel in Badrinath. Visit Badrinath Temple in the evening for darshan.

• Day 10 : Badrinath to Rudraprayag (150 km / 4.5 hours)

  After morning darshan at Badrinath Temple, visit Mana Village (last Indian village). Depart for Rudraprayag and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 11 : Rudraprayag to Rishikesh (255 km / 6-7 hours)

  Drive to Rishikesh, the Yoga Capital of India, and check in to your hotel. Explore Lakshman Jhula, Triveni Ghat, and Ram Jhula, followed by the Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat in the evening. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.
