Day 1 : Kampala
Kampala the capital city of Uganda was named after the impalas that inhabited the hills around. The history that makes Kampala will be retold to you as you visit the Uganda museum, Bahai temple, Kabaka’s Palace(Twekobe), Kabaka’s lake Namugongo martyrs shrine, Churches, and not missing the fresh vegetable and fruit market Nakasero where we shall employ our bargaining lingo. We shall also have a stroll on the streets of Kampala to important land marks the dot the city.
Day 2 : Kampala

Day 3 : Kampala- Jinja
We drive eastwards to the source of the River Nile passing Mabira forest the largest rain forest in Central Uganda. See large tea and sugarcane plantations, the first hydro electricity dam in Uganda Owen falls Dam now known as Nalubaale. Have a boat ride and see the exact spot the Nile is believed to start.
Day 4 : Kampala-Kibale
At 7.00am, we head westwards. Driving to Mubende, along the Kampala Fort Portal Highway heading straight to Nakayima tree an ancestral tree standing at over 200m high with very large buttress roots. It’s believed to harbor the spirit of King Ndahura the last King of the Cwezi dynasty. Continue to Fort Portal for lunch and to our accommodation.
Day 5 : Chimpanzee Tracking Kibale forest
Up for the chimpanzee trek that begins at 8.00am. This 3hr walk will yield to chimpanzees, monkeys, lovely birds and butterflies and other forest dwellers. In the afternoon, we go to where we shall find the only stalagmites and stalactites in Uganda popularly known as “Amabeere ga nyina Mwiru.” The Legend here begins the story of Nakayima tree in Mubende.
Day 6 : Fort Portal – Bwindi impenetrable forest (Southern Side) Read more at
Leave early for Bwindi impenetrable forest where the largest populations of the endangered rare mountain Gorillas live.Have great scenic sightings on the way.
Day 7 : Gorilla trekking Bwindi (Southern side)
Have your breakfast and head to the briefing grounds ready for the search for the giant apes. A good walk keeping you physically fit ensues until you finally meet the gentle giants.
Day 8 : Batwa Trail
Today we go for a mind arousing half day walk the Batwa walk. This walk will open your eyes to the world about these little people who once called the Bwindi forest home. As a responsible traveler, you will applaud yourself for being part of this activity.
Day 9 : Kisoro – Queen Elizabeth
Drive from the lush rolling hills to the vast savannah lands of Queen Elizabeth National Park. It’s been a long day. Catch up on your weariness plunge into the pool and let your dreams carry on in the African wilderness.
Day 10 : Queen Elizabeth
Have an early morning game drive and an afternoon launch cruise on the Kazinga channel with lots of wild life in and by the waters.
Day 11 : Queen Elizabeth- Kampala
Drive to Mbarara branching off to Igongo cultural center for yet more knowledge on the People of the Ankole region.Have lunch and continue to the Equator and Drum market.
Day 12 : Departure
Have morning shopping for Uganda Curios. Later Drop you at the Airport.
