Day 1 : Guwahati

Main tourist attraction places are famous Kamakhya Temple, Umananda, Navagraha Temple, War Cemetry, State Zoo, Shankardev Kalakshetra and many more.
Arrival at Guwhati Airport. Pick up from Guwahati Airport to Hotel for overnight stay. Visit Kamakhya Temple on the way. Dinner at hotel.
Day 2 : Guwahati/Shillong (110 kms/4 Hrs)
Early Morning(7 am) Departure to Shillong. Enrout Borapani Lake and arrive shillong. Check in at hotel. After Lunch Local sightseeing in Shillong covering Ward’s Lake, Don Bosco Church, Shillong Peak, Elephant Falls, Local market (closed on Sundays). Overnight in Shillong.
Day 3 : Shillong/Cherrapunji (68 kms/2 hrs)
7 am :Day long excursion to Cherrapunji and back to Shillong. Major attractions Mausmai Caves, Eco Park, Waterfalls and many view points.
Day 4 : Shillong/Kaziranga (300 kms/6 hrs)
7 am start to Kaziranga National Park.Arrive and check in to the hotel, freshen up. Evening enjoy folk dance of Assam by local artists.Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Kaziranga
Early morning at 5 am explore Western Zone of Kaziranga National Park on back of elephant. Apart from world's endangered One-horned Rhinoceros, the Park sustains half the world's population of genetically pure Wild Water Buffaloes, over 1000 Wild elephants and perhaps the densest population of Royal Bengal Tigers anywhere. Kaziranga is also a bird watcher's paradise and home to some 500 species of birds. The Crested Serpent Eagle, Palla's Fishing Eagle, Greyheaded Fishing Eagle, Swamp Partridge, Bar-headed goose, whistling Teal, Bengal Florican, Storks, Herons and Pelicans are some of the species found here.We will return to the resort for breakfast.Afternoon we have arranged a jeep safari through the Central Zone of the National Park.Evening come back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 : Kaziranga / Bomdila
Distance 252 Kms; 08 Hrs Drive; 8,500Ft
Today we will enter in Arunachal Pradesh; it is surrounded by China in the north, Myanmar in the east, Bhutan in the west and the states of Assam and Nagaland in the south. This scenic drive will take you to Bomdila Enroute visit Tippi Orchiderium. This town is inhabited by Monpa tribe. Evening explore the area. Overnight at Bomdilla.
Day 7 : Bomdila / Tawang
Distance 185 Kms; 06 Hrs Drive
Today you will cross Sela Pass - one of the highest motorable passes on Himalaya at 14.000 ft. This road was once the battel ground of India and China. Overnight at Tawang. Tawang has a strong Tibetan presence. Numerous prayer flags can be seen fluttering in the breeze.
Day 8 : Tawang
At Tawang (10,000 ft), you will visit the famous Buddhist Monastery which was in the route chosen by the Dalai Lama to enter India from Tibet. A stunning 8 mtrs. high gilded statue of Buddha dominates the sanctum. Attached to the monastery, there is a Museum and a library with priceless collections. The monastery is one of the largest in Asia with a thousand monks. Visit the craft centre that sells beautiful masks, hand-woven carpets, tangkhas, and jewellery in silver, turquoise, coral and amber. The museum presents the rich cultural diversity of Tawang. Overnight at Tawang.
Day 9 : Tawang
Visit P.T. Tso (Pangang Teng Tso) Lake : Tso means lake in Monpa dialect. This lake is only 18 Kms from Tawang township. This lake has always been a cynosure of attraction to the visiting tourists. It is also an ideal spot for picnic. In winter lake remains frozen and the surrounding area provides an ideal spot for skiing.
Visit Shonga-tser Lake : Popularly known by Madhuri Lake by a visiting tourists after Koyla film is only 42 Kms from Tawang. This Lake was formed in the aftermath of the 1950 Earth Quake. Prior to 1950, the present Lake area was a reserved grass land where local people of Tawang district had used for grazing their cattle. This fact can be gathered from the death trees emerging from the middle of the lake. The scenery and the lake itself is so alluring that here photographers often suffer for want of film roll to shoot around.
Visit Bumla Pass (Subject to weather/Road/Security condition): Bumla Pass is located 37 kms away from Tawang. It is one of the most off-beat passes in the world and is also known as the pass from where Dalai Lama entered India escaping from Tibet. The road to Bum-la is also historical route in the sense that it is from here that the Chinese marched into India during the 1962 Sino-Indian war. Back to Tawang and overnight stay.
Day 10 : Tawang - Bomdila (190 Km / 7-8 Hrs)
After Breakfast transfer to Bomdila.Check in the hotel on arrival. After lunch visit Gontse Rabgyaling Monastery (Upper Gonpa), Thub-Chog Gatsel Ling Monastery (Lower Gonpa), Bomdila View Point. Bomdila offers wonderfully panoramic view of Himalayan landscapes and snow clad ranges.Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay in Bomdila.
Day 11 : Bomdilla/Nameri (180 kms/6 hrs)
Morning Drive to Nameri Eco Camp. Overnight in Nameri.
Day 12 : Nameri
Sightseeing at Nameri and day free for leisure activities in Nameri (activities at additional expense). Overnight in Nameri.
Day 13 : Nameri /Guwahati
Today at 6 am drive to Guwahati ( 215 km / 5 hrs). Arrive Guwahati and after having lunch visit Emporium for traditional Assamese handicraft purchase. Later you will be dropped at Guwahati Airport for your onward flight.
