It is the site of the Bhimakali Temple, originally known as Bhimadevi Temple, dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali, presiding deity of the rulers of the former Bushahr State.Sangla is a town in the Baspa Valley, also referred to as the Sangla valley, in the Kinnaur District of Himachal Pradesh, India, close to the Tibetan border. Kalpa is a small village in the Sutlej river valley, above Reckong Peo in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, Northern India, in the Indian Himalaya. Inhabited by Kinnauri people and known for its apple orchards. Apples are a major cash-crop for the region.Tabo is a small town in the Lahaul and Spiti district on the banks of the Spiti River in Himachal Pradesh, India. The town lies on the road between Rekong Peo and Kaza, the sub-divisional headquarters of Spiti. The town surrounds a Buddhist monastery which, according to legend, is said to be over a thousand years old.Kaza also spelled Kaze, Karze, Karzey, is a town and the subdivisional headquarters of the remote Spiti Valley in the western Himalayas in the Lahaul and Spiti district of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.Tso Chigma or Chandra Taal, or Chandra Tal is a lake in the Lahaul part of the Lahul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh. Chandra Taal is near the source of the Chandra River. Despite the rugged and inhospitable surroundings, it is in a protected niche with some flowers and wildlife in summer.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chandigarh-Sarahan

  Arrival in Chandigarh airport. Meet our represented and drive to Sarhan. Evening reach at Sarahan check in at hotel. spend your Night in Sarahan. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : Sarahan - Sangla (90 kilometers in approximately 5 hours)

  Sarahan is 2744 meters above the sea level. Participate in morning Aarti at Bhimakali Temple. After breakfast, check-out from your Hotel and depart for Sangla via Karcham. Your journey from here will take you to another spectacular destination in the middle Himalayas which is also known as Baspa valley – the prettiest valley in Himachal. Arrive at Sangla & check-in to your Hotel. After a delicious dinner, sleep comfortably overnight.

• Day 3 : Sangla- Chhitkul- Sangla (Stay) (3 HOURS./40 KM) Hrs

  After breakfast, explore the vicinity around including an ancient Kamru Fort & Temple dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam & Nages God. Post Lunch, excursion to Chitkul – a last Village on Old Indo – Tibetan Trade Route. Walk through green orchards & brilliant stream. Return back to Sangla for Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 4 : Sangla - Kalpa

  After breakfast, check-out from the Hotel & drive to Kalpa – District Headquarter of Kinnar & once a favorite haunt of Lord Dalhousie. Arrive Kalpa & Check-in to your Hotel. Kalpa was known as Chini back in the days when it was the Regional Capital. Kalpa has changed little in the last 500 years. It is said that as & when Lord Dalhousie wanted to take a break from his hectic schedule in Shimla, he would come here on his Horseback. Each & every corner of Kalpa facing Jorkanden & the Kinner Kailash Peaks, considered as one of the mythical homes of Lord Shiva & by its side is a 79 foot rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes the colour as the day passes & is visible to the naked eye on a clear day. Post Lunch rest in Hotel & in evening visit to Buddhist Gompa – Hu Bu Lan Kar. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 5 : Kalpa Sightseeing

  Early morning, enjoy the Sunrise and then see kalpa Sightseeing .Kalpa is famous for its apples & chilgoza plantations. The tree belongs to the Pine Family & the fruit is in about an inch long, in soft cover. After breakfast, visit the local School & Narayan Nagini Temple Complex, which has Shrines of Hindu, Buddhist and local Deities and excursion trip to Roghi Village to get closer to the ‘Pahari’ way of Life as you mingle with the locals and overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 6 : Kalpa to Tabo

  Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Tabo. On the way visit Nako. Nako has a beautiful lake which freezes in the winter and villagers play ice hockey during this period and seeing the temple of Padamsambhava, the second incarnation of lord Buddha who made Buddhism popular in the Trans Himalayas. The day has a surprise where a visit to the village of 5oo years old mummy makes your journey and exciting. Later drive to Tabo. Overnight stay at Camp near village.

• Day 7 : Tabo to Kaza: (106 km/4 hours) 3600m

  After breakfast journey starts to witness the Ajanta of Himalayas the Tabo monastery. Tabo has the oldest caves on barren mountains and Thanka paintings, one of the most precious paintings of Buddhism. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 8 : Kaza

  After breakfast excursion to Kee monastery and Kibber village at an altitude of 4205M.After lunch a drive to the highest motorable roar Langza and enroute visiting the Comik and Hikim village. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 9 : Kaza – Chandratal

  After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Chandartal. Visit Chandartal Lake and overnight stay at camp.

  After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive from Chandartal to Manali. Evening free for Shopping. Transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

  After breakfast sightseeing of places in and around Manali, Like Hadimba temple, Manu temple, Vashisht Bath, Van Vihar and evening shopping at the local market. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 12 : Kasol : Excursion to Kullu Valley

  After breakfast in hotel, check out and head to Kasol. On the way, you can visit Kullu Valley. The famous Manikaran Gurudwara is also nearby. You can take a plunge into the hot springs and enjoy the pious serenity of the place. From there, further ahead there will be Kasol – the mini-Israel of India. Check-in to your hotel and set out to explore the beautiful hill station. River Parvati nearby is an ideal chilling spot. Spend a lazy evening by the paddy fields.To cap the night off, have a delicious dinner in hotel and overnight stay at hotel.
