Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Johannesburg - Kruger

Depart from Johannesburg at 05.00. We travel east through the Highveld farmlands to Mpumalanga province, heading for the world - renowned Kruger national park. We enter through one of the central entrance gates. After setting into our camp at Marula camp, we venture out on our first exciting night drive on an open vehicle accompanied by a game ranger. We then enjoy a hearty dinner and relax around the log fire, listening to the sounds of the African wild.

Day 2 : Kruger National Park

An early rise, we start the day with coffee and rusks before venturing out on a morning game drive. Breakfast is to be served at one of the picnic sites. Most of the day will be spent game viewing, bird watching and stopping at the various water holes en-route to our Letaba camp. Arriving at our camp at sunset, we settle for a traditional “braai” (barbeque) for dinner and relax around the camp fire.

Day 3 : Kruger - Botswana

Up at day break, we have coffee and rusks before heading to Martins drift border post, entering into Botswana and work our way to Palapye .Here we will put up camp and we will spent the night at the pub and around the camp fire.

Day 4 : Botswana

Up at daybreak, we go up to Elephant Sands where we make a camp and listen to the night sounds of the Kalahari. For the ones that want to there is an optional visit to the Kalahari game farm.

Day 5 : Botswana

An early rise, as we leaving Elephant Sands to Kasane. It is a long drive and we spent most of the day on the road. After putting up camp we will enjoy the pub and swimming pool. For those who want, there is an optional river cruise on the Zambezi.

Day 6 : Chobe - Vic Falls

Up at 04:00, to go on a game drive to Chobe National Game Park. We will be back round about 09:00 where we will have a quick brunch and then leave for the Victoria falls so that we can get there in time to make bookings for the optional activities. Then we will explore the magnificent Victoria Falls, before we will do the sunset dinner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.

Day 7 : Victoria Falls

Time is spent at our leisure. Activities include white river rafting, bungi, big swing, elephant rides, a canoeing safari etc. We spent the evening out in town enjoying a traditional meal at one of the local restaurants (own expense).

Day 8 : Vic Falls - Maun

We leave early after coffee and rusks, down to Maun, where we will put up camp at Setatunga Camp and prepare for the delta. We will stop in Maun to buy the necessary stuff and water supply. Remember everyone must take at least 10 liters of water per person.

Day 9 : Okavango Delta

We enter the delta on Magoros and set up camp on one of the islands, before leaving on a hiking trail with a guide from the delta.

Day 10 : Okavango Delta

Spent the day in the delta by having an early Magoro trail with a delta guide, to explore the wildlife of the Okavango delta. The afternoon there will be another hiking trail on the islands, before we enjoy a concert by the locals.

Day 11 : Back From Delta

Departure from the delta back to base camp, where we will spend the rest of the day in town. For those who want to, they can take an optional flight over the delta. We will spent the night at the backpackers bar and restaurant.

Day 12 : Botswana

Leaving Maun at sunrise through the central Kalahari to put up camp at Palapye at Itumela Camp where we will spend the last night together around the fire.

Day 13 : Back To Johannesburg

Early rise, leaving Palapye via Martins drift border post back to Johannesburg to say our goodbyes.

ValidityAll of our tours have validity dates and are subject to change without notice on our side. Please check the brochure quoted that you are planning from to make sure it is current. We often change holiday options so we cannot guarantee the option is available or current.
How to BookWe recommend booking well in advance by sending a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the tour price with a minimum deposit of USD$250 per person. Some of the tours and ground arrangements may require a higher deposit of up to 50% to meet local tour operator's booking conditions. These details will be provided on confirmation. The deposit is required within 7 days of confirmation to hold the reservation. The booking confirmation will include the exact deposit amount required and the due date of final payment. Receipt of deposit will be taken as an understanding by the Company that the participant has checked their confirmed travel arrangements and has read and agrees to abide by the terms and conditions set forth in our brochures. Any verbal quote given is an estimate only of the price which will be subject to advice on confirmation of the reservation. Final balance is due 60 days prior to departure for accommodation and tours.
Price GuaranteePrices on our website & brochures are based on costs and exchange rates as at the time of printing the brochure. Should these costs change it may be necessary to make a surcharge on the price of your holiday. However no surcharge in respect to cost or currency fluctuations will be made to the arrangements of your holiday once full payment has been received by Jobovic Pty Ltd. This does not apply to any tax charges or levies imposed by any government or their agencies.
AmendmentsShould you wish to alter your arrangement after your original booking, you should notify us in writing and we will try to accommodate you. However due to administrative costs involved, we may be obliged to make a charge of USD$50 per amendment. Amendments within 60 days of departure are subject to cancellation fees outlined below.
Late BookingsA fee of $50 per booking will be levied for bookings made within 10 working days of departure from South Africa. Any booking request made within 10 working days or within a supplier cancellation period cannot be processed until full payment has been received by Jobovic Pty Ltd
Cancellations and RefundsIf it is necessary to cancel your holiday the following cancellation fees per person per arrangement apply.More than 60 days before departure: Loss of depositLess than 60 days before departure: Up to 50% of tour costLess than 30 days before departure: Up to 100% of tour costLess than 14 days before departure: 100%Cancellations fees for some products may vary from those stated above. Please check with Jobovic Pty Ltd at time of booking. Regrettably cancellation charges cannot be waived. There will be no exceptions. Consumer ClaimsShould you wish to lodge a complaint please do so in writing within 30 days of completing your arrangements.
Not Included in the Tour CostVisas, insurance, excess baggage over 20kg (international), extra meals, laundry, drinks, souvenirs & items of a personal nature as well as optional activities.
Changes in Prices and ItinerariesConsiderable care has been taken to compile the information in our website and brochures but circumstances may necessitate changes in itineraries and costs in which case you will be informed as soon as possible Jobovic Pty Ltd cannot be held responsible for any changes which may occur and reserves the right to increase the price of any travel arrangement up to the date of departure. This includes adjustment for devaluation fuel surcharges airfare increases as well as international exchange rate fluctuations.
Holiday VariationsIf unforeseen circumstances beyond our control require us to make necessary changes to your holiday we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule departures and itineraries. When it is necessary to change a campsite the company reserves the right to substitute accommodation of at least a similar standard.
Accommodation Descriptions, Maps and PhotographsAccommodation descriptions featured on our website & brochures are based on current guides and contractual agreements provided by suppliers. Any facilities described are subject to change at any time. Maps and photographs are included for general information and may not necessarily reflect actual routings location or services. Room photographs may not be specific to the actual room occupied.
InsuranceIt is a condition of booking one of our tours that travelers are adequately insured for the full duration of their travel arrangements in respect of illness injury death loss of baggage and personal item cancellation and curtailment. Your travel agent will be able to offer a suitable holiday insurance policy.
Passport Visa and VaccinationsIt is mandatory that you familiarise yourself with any visa and health requirements that may be applicable in the countries you are visiting. You are responsible for all entry exit health and any other documents required by laws regulations orders demands or requirements of countries visited or transited. Please note that passport and visa requirements are not the responsibility of Jobovic Pty Ltd, or that of your travel agent. Both parties can not be held liable for any loss or expense due to the failure to comply with the above.
ResponsibilityJobovic Pty Ltd (herewith called the Company) accepts bookings subject to the following conditions.Jobovic Pty Ltd acts as a co-ordinator for all persons taking the tour in the making of all arrangements for transportation sightseeing and accommodations. All coupons receipts and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by the suppliers and all services are subject to the laws of the country where the services are provided.A booking is accepted only after the Company receives the deposit and issues the client or their travel agent confirmation invoices. The balance must be paid no later than 60 days before departure otherwise the Company will treat the booking as cancelled regardless of whether a deposit is being held.The Company assume no responsibility for the loss or damage to baggage property or for injury illness or death or for any damages or claims however so caused arising directly or indirectly from accidents loss or damage to person or property delays transport failures strikes wars and uprisings or acts of God etc over which we have no control. Clients are strongly advised to insure adequately for the full duration of their travel arrangements in respect of illness injury death baggage and personal effects.While the Company will use its best endeavours to operate all tours as advertised reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made without notice where deemed necessary or advisable by the Company. Legal ClaimsAny claims or legal action in connection with the provision of our services to you will be governed by the laws of South Africa. Any claim or legal action against the Suppliers is likely to be subject to the terms of your contact with them, and may be governed by the laws of other countries.
