Charis US driver guide will meet you at Entebbe Airport to pick you up from your flight and takes you straight a mid- luxurious Lake Victoria Hotel in Entebbe. Bed & Breakfast.
Morning breakfast, you will take off time to change money, for your personal need. The drive is extraordinarily beautiful, passing through communities, lush green forests and hills scattered tea plantations which characterize this part of Uganda. Arrive to Chimps nest Lodge.
Early morning chimpanzee trekking and other primates; Kibale Forest National Park hosts the world’s largest number of Chimpanzees approximately 5,000. In the afternoon go for a swamp walk, through grassland, small communities and some beautiful scenery, where the locals are likely to greet you with enthusiastic waves.
After breakfast visit the crater lake , tea plantation - assist the tea pickers and learn about how leaves are selected for the highest quality at your cost . Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park lunch en-route; the park is the second largest park in Uganda, situated at the base of the magnificent Rwenzori Mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. Dinner overnight in Mweya Safari Lodge.
A little before sunrise coffee, head out for a long game drive in time to see the first rays of light, you will be able to view wildlife like Elephants, Buffalos, Lions, Water bucks, Leopards, Uganda Kobs, and many Warthogs. Return to your lodge for lunch. Go for an afternoon you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel which connects Lake George and Lake Edward, the launch will reward you with a school of hippos buffalos, crocodile, bathing elephant, the pelicans and other beautiful birds.
After breakfast you go for a morning game drive on your way out of the park, via Ishasha where you will be rewarded with tree climbing lions evading the mid-morning heat; in the background view the buffalo and the Uganda kob. Lunch will be provided at Ishasha Wilderness Camp in Ishasha. After lunch you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest; home of the Mountain Gorillas. Dinner overnight in Lake Kitandara Bwindi Camp or Buhoma Lodge.
Early morning breakfast, go to the headquarters for briefing, and proceed to meet face to face with the gentle giants: the endangered mountain ‘Gorillas in the Mist’. The breath taking emotional trek over slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo is a challenge walk yet memorable. Also hosts five other species of primate, 113 species of mammal, over 200 butterflies and 360 birds.
Depending on the energies that you might have left, go for a cultural walk to meet the Batwa, interact with them and watch their traditional dances Return to your accommodation, dinner,overnight.
After breakfast, travel to Lake Mburo National Park, the second smallest parks, but certainly not to be underestimated. It is the only Ugandan national park (besides to Kidepo Valley NP) which is home to zebra, eland and impala, as well as an abundance of other wildlife - hippos and crocodiles! Last but not least: The Uganda Wildlife Authority brought 15 giraffes from Murchison falls to lake Mburo (1st July 2015)! In the afternoon you will go for a game drive in the park. Lunch en-route. Dinner - overnight in Mihingo.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will drive back to Entebbe (Airport) stopping at the equator for the requisite snapshot and a bit of souvenir shopping. Arrive in Kilimanjaro your driver will meet you and transfer you to Arumeru River Lodge your stylish at the foot of the splendid Kilimanjaro, for dinner / overnight.
After a relaxed breakfast, you will be travelling to the first national park in Tanzania: Lake Manyara. Go for a village walk in cozy ‘Mto wa Mbu’- meet the local community, taste homemade banana beer, learn about the Makonde woodcarvings and the way of living in this village where you will have a local lunch; with the highly respected Miss Bibi you prepare a delicious Swahili meal. Journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Have a memorable, excellent game viewing and an incredible array of birdlife. spot zebra, baboon, warthog, giraffe, impala, elephant, hippo, wildebeest and the rare tree climbing lions. Dinner overnight in the Escarpment Luxury Lodge; situated on the edge of the Rift Escarpment
After breakfast, you depart for the most famous safari park in the world, due to the most extensive population of wild animals on earth and has a complex and untouched ecosystem. Serengeti means "endless plains" in the language of the Maasai, a description that the Serengeti completely lives up to. These endless plains have to be experienced to be fully appreciated! You visit the heart of the Serengeti, Seronera Valley - the ‘classic’ Serengeti; short grass plains. Dinner, overnight in Tortilis Camp.
Early in the morning you leave the camp for a full-day safari! Most of the national park is open and grassy. Ultimately, the success of any safari lies in the number and quality of encounters with big cats. There are thousands of lions, leopards, cheetahs! Enjoy picnic lunch ; safari back to Tortilis Camp , dinner and some time to relax.
Breakfast and go to enjoy a long game drive on your way out of the beautiful Serengeti en route to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers a unique biosphere where, you can see a large population of wildlife throughout the year. Deep within the crater, enclosed by towering walls, you have a good chance of spotting ‘The Big 5’: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard approximately 30,000 animals live on the crater floor! Dinner, overnight in the luxury Acacia farm lodge overlooking the Ngorogoro forest.
Upgrade to Ngorogoro Sopa Lodge is optional .
After breakfast you will depart for Arusha. Depending on the time your flight departs, there might be some time left today to take a dive in the pool, have a massage or take a yoga class. All activities today are at your own expense. Your driver/guide will take care of your transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport.
