Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrival At Noi Bai International Airport

    Our driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi.
    Have free time to go around the city.
    Overnight at hotel.

  • Day 2 : Hanoi City – Culture & Street Food Tour (b,L)

    After breakfast, our tour guide will meet you at the hotel, bring you to visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, which consists of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House, Ho Chi Minh Museum, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda.

    You will visit the One Pillar Pagoda, a group of structures that collectively make up together like a pagoda. Located at the West Lake, you will also have the chance to explore the oldest pagoda in Vietnam - Tran Quoc Pagoda, built in the 6th century. Moving on, you will visit Temple of literature, which is Vietnam’s first university, and is respectfully dedicated to Confucius.

    After lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit Hoan Kiem Lake, popularly known as the Sword Lake. It is one of the major scenic spots in Hanoi, with numerous tourist activities around the lake. The roads around the lake are traffic-free during weekends and officially designated as walking streets for locals and tourists to boost tourism.

    Finally, you will stop at the Museum of Ethnology. This interesting museum showcases the depth of the Vietnamese cultural diversity, with an astounding collection of 15,000 artefacts gathered throughout Vietnam. Maps, displays, and dioramas are labelled in Vietnamese, French and English. The displays portray a typical village market, the making of conical hats, and a Tay shamanic ceremony. You can also explore a traditional Black Thai house, reconstructed in the museum. There is also a centre for research and conservation, where scientists from all over the world study traditional Vietnamese cultures. After that, you will return to hotel to take a rest or shower. Our tour guide will meet you back at the hotel for the foodie tour.

  • Day 3 : HANOI – NINH BINH – BAI DINH – TRANG AN(B,L)

    8:00am: After breakfast, your tour guide and car will pick you up at the hotel to depart for Ninh Binh province. It is about 98 kilometers away from Hanoi. First, you will visit Bai Dinh Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues. This is the biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam, which is 10 meters tall and weighs an astounding 100 tons. Have lunch at a Vietnamese restaurant with some special local dishes, such as goat meat with elderberry. Continue to visit Trang An further with a relaxing boat trip to visit the cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness.

    Enjoy the stunning scenery of natural mountains and rivers. Get into the car and return back to your hotel in Hanoi

  • Day 4 : HANOI – HALONG BAY(B,L,D)

    8:30: After breakfast, we will pick you up at your hotel and head to Halong Bay.

    12:15: Arrive at Halong Bay City and refresh yourself at the Oasis Bay Lounge for about 20 minutes before boarding the cruise.

    12:30: Board the cruise with a welcome drink. Cruise briefing and safety instructions will be given by our cruise manager, followed by the check-in to your cabin. Cruise officially commences.

    13:00 - 14:30: Lunch will be served on board while cruising along some of the most symbolic landmarks of Halong Bay: Dog islet, Fighting Cock islet (symbol of Halong Bay), Hoa Cuong fishing village, and Swan islet.
    After lunch, the ship will continue exploring the wonders of Halong Bay, passing by countless number of islands, including Soi Sim beach and Coconut Tree Island. We will anchor the ship at Frog Pond area.

    15:45 – 16:45: Explore this beautiful natural area by kayaking through the majestic scenery and swimming in emerald coloured water.

    17:15 – 18:45: Relax on the sundeck with cocktails, complimented by a variety of tropical fruits and some of the best local wines. Then attend a cooking demonstration with our chef. Learn how to prepare one of the most popular Vietnamese food - spring rolls. After that, you can refresh yourself in our big hot Jacuzzi.

    19:00 – 19:30 Enjoy a specially prepared 11-course gourmet dinner, then relax yourself with either squid fishing or Jacuzzi.

  • Day 5 : HALONG – HANOI – FLIGHT TO DANANG – HOI AN(B,L)

    6:30: Wake up to a spiritual morning with an organized Tai Chi class right in the the peaceful surroundings of Halong Bay.

    7:00 – 7:30: Enjoy a small breakfast with assorted homemade pastries, fresh juices, coffee and tea.

    7:30 – 8:30: Visit Sung Sot Cave which translates to ‘Surprise’ Cave. Hike up and down 600 steps to the magnificent limestone formations of the most beautiful, and the biggest cave in Halong bay.

    9:30: After the cave visit, we will return back to the cruise and prepare to do an early check-out and start our return journey, back to Hanoi.

    10:00: Brunch will be served while the ship is cruising back to Halong harbour.

    12:30 - 12:45: We will pick you up at Oasis Bay Lounge and return back to Hanoi.

    16:30 – 17:00: Arrive in Hanoi.

    You have your free time to do any last minute shopping in Hanoi before our driver comes to your hotel at the scheduled time to bring you to the domestic airport for your flight to Danang.
    A gentle reminder that you will need to be at the airport two hours before the departure time. Upon arrival at Danang, we will bring you to your hotel for check-in.

  • Day 6 : HOI AN(B,L)

    8.00: Visit the ancient town of Hoi An. Back then, it was an important trading port during the 17th and 18th centuries. For that reason, it is officially listed and preserved as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Take a cycling tour around Hoi An town and explore its tourist attractions: the Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung Old Merchant House, and Quang Dong Assembly Hall.

  • Day 7 : HOI AN – DA NANG – FLIGHT TO SIEM REAP (B,L)

    We will first take a trip to the local market to purchase some fresh, locally grown herbs. Then we board our river boat for a relaxing 30-minute ride to Thuan Tinh Island, recognized by Hoi An as an official ecological zone.
    To visit the local village, we take a row-boat ride through the water coconut trees.

    We then walk through the gardens to visit Miss Hoa's house (local family experience) and snack on grilled rice cakes and iced tea. From there, we head back to our open-air cooking class, overlooking the water coconut trees and river. Our chefs will show you how to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes with a 4-course cooking class.

    Then it will be your turn - to prepare your own tasty Vietnamese lunch! We start with a homemade passion fruit juice soda to whet your appetite.

    Once you return from the cooking course, you have free time until our driver transfers you to Danang airport.
    Upon arrival at Siem Reap, our driver meets you and brings you to the hotel. Check in to your room and have your own free time.

  • Day 8 : SIEM REAP (B)

    Breakfast at hotel. Start your sightseeing tour of the Angkor area. You will spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins from the South Gate of Angkor Thom, famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King, and the largest temple Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, view the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, and ponds full of water that reflect the towering temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.

  • Day 9 : SIEM REAP (B)

    After breakfast at the hotel, we head out of town and make our way by travelling on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well-preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way, we make stopover at the Preah Dark village. Then a visit to the Banteay Samre Temple, adorned with impressive depicting scenes of Vishunu, as well as Krishna legends. In the afternoon, you will visit the Roluos Group - the monuments of Roluos, served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89). Preah KO erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century was dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880.

  • Day 10 : TONLE SAP LAKE – HOCHIMINH CITY (B)

    You will have breakfast at the hotel. Then we take a wooden boat to visit the floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. This is the largest permanent freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, and flows into Tonle sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh.

    You can get to see local fishermen, floating schools, and even floating police station. It is exactly the same as a big village floating on the lake. In fact, the village never stays stationary but from a place to another, following the water levels. Then continue to visit Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor, which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Vietnam.

  • Day 11 : HOCHIMINH – CU CHI TUNNELS (B,L)

    We start the trip by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, followed by exploring the Reunification Palace and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum.

    After lunch, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its strategic role during the Vietnam war. It is famous for its intricate network of tunnels, which extends over 220km. It is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. Today, Cu Chi is a tranquil land of rice paddy fields, with ducks and water buffaloes lazily bathing in the rivers.

  • Day 12 : HOCHIMINH – MEKONG (B,L)

    8:00: Depart Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. Upon arrival in My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a boat ride along the river, explore stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden.

    After lunch, take a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a rowing boat under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals. Enjoy seasonal fruits and honey tea, while listen to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music" performed by the locals.

    Visit a local family business, which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle. Taste delicious coconut candy, and observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantations and villages. Move on to Can Tho.

  • Day 13 : CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – HOCHIMINH (B,L)

    After breakfast, you will take a boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong River. The boat trip will bring you to the Cai Rang floating markets, which are the most original and bustling places of the region. Here, you can learn how Vietnamese vermicelli noodle is made. You will trek along the village to get in contact with the local people, with the chance to experience how to pass a “Monkey bridge”, built by only bamboo.

    Depart from the village and visit Can Tho market. Have lunch and walk around to explore the surroundings, before going back to Ho Chi Minh City at around 5.00pm.

  • Day 14 : HOCHIMINH – HOME SWEET HOME (B)

    On the last day of the itinerary, you will have your own free time for last-minute souvenir shopping before we pick you up to the airport for your flight back home.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT

1. Pay by Bank transfer

Bank transfer is one of the popular ways of paying for goods or services these days, and because it can be done either in person in the local branch of your bank or using your online banking service it is both flexible in how it works but also secure.

Paying via bank transfer is simpler than you probably think it is. Bank transfers can be made from any branch of your bank or using your online banking services provided you have access to your bank’s online service. We will provide for you our bank account and it is easy for you to make your money transaction. After you are complete works at your bank branch you will inform us your transaction information by email and your transfer bank slips. We need 3 – 5 days for complete money collection from our bank before sending the payment confirmation to you.

If you transfer money from a USD account opened outside the U.S., add 3.9% + U.S. $ 0.3 as PayPal fees to your total.

If the transfer was made from an account not in dollars, add 3.9% + 2.5% (exchange fee) + U.S. $ 0.3 as PayPal fees to your total.

To avoid the complication for our customers, we will count those costs and add to your order

Special Notice: Viland Travel mostly uses PayPal for refund the services. Since Paypal is so easy and any individual can work with, VTT does not receive payment by Paypal as we use our System of Onepay.vn that only the REAL companies can use with Logo, trade mark in any voucher you pay.


3. Pay by credit card

With Visa or Master Card - Viland Travel™ is supported by the payment system of Viland Group., Jsc. All of your card information is processed through SSL protocol with international card security standard. Your card information will not be stored at our system (merchant) but MasterCard with international security standard.

After you have received your Order from us through a link, please check the information of the Order. If all the information is correct, please read & agree with Terms and Conditions before clicking to pay.
You will be redirected to OnePAY Payment Gateway to pay us online with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and JCB Card .

Note: In some cases, your transaction may be not successful due to:

4. Money transfer via third party

Many of our customers may not be familiar with paying via money transfer agency such as: May Bank, Western Union, Money Gram…but It is so fast and efficient.

You will come to money transfer agency and then simply fill in the form as required. We will provide you the recipient information. Completely works with your branch you need to send us following information:

Your order number (Or the answer for your secure question)
Notice: We will confirm your payment with you when we successfully withdraw money from the local agency.

5. PAYMENT& DEPOSIT

A deposit of 30% or 50% (Depend on accommodation type included on itinerary) of the tour value or US$ 300 per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges (processing fees) is required upon confirmation of your booking (If this amount is less than US$500, we would suggest you to pay us in full before you arrive). Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms and Conditions.

The remaining balance of the tour value (70%) is due upon your arrival in indochinaprivatetours, payable at our office. Cash is preferred to reduce any processing fees that may affect your cost.

6. CHILD DISCOUNT

Free of charge for one child who is under the age of four years old when accompanied by at least two full paying adults and share the same room with them. This discount is subject to availability for airfares and will be charged if any usage of airfare on tour.

A tour price of 75% of full paying adult will be charged for one child from 4 to 11 year old when accompanied by at least two full paying adults and stays in the same room. An extra bed is provided without any payment.

Children at the age of twelve or older will be charged as an adult. Please be prepared to show appropriate identification clearly stating the date of birth when confirming the services.

Cancellation & Refund Policy :
CANCELLATION

We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Viland Trave, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen.

In the event of cancellation, the cancellation fee will be applied as below:

More than 45 days prior to departure: The total deposit paid to us (30% of tour value) will act as your cancellation fee to cover hotel charges and organization fees. (Because to book accommodations for your tour, we need to pre pay for all hotels as in your itinerary)
07 – 14 days: 22 - 45 days prior to departure: 60% on total value of the Tour Cost charged, due to hotel charges for no-shows and organizing fees.
01 – 06 days: Within 1-22 days prior to departure: 100% on total charged.
No-Show: 100% on total charge.
After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.

Viland Travel™ Cancellation received up to 45 days before departure.
You need to pay more if the cancellation of a member in your tour group causes the change of the Tourist Class.
