Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Nairobi to Isiolo

    A trip to Kenya’s northern frontier is an exciting adventure. The observation of how the climate, landscape and vegetation distribution changes, and more so, the people who inhabit the lands enroute is a great learning experience.

  • Day 2 : Merille-Laisamis-Ngurnit

    Merille, Laisamis and Ngurnit make up the Melako Conservancy. This place is home to 9% of the global world population of Grevy Zebras. There are many other herbivores and big cats. Accommodation at Ngurnit Campsite

  • Day 3 : Ngurnit

    Our nomadic encounters begin here. During our 3 days stay here, we shall start basic ‘moran warrior’ training, enjoy nomadic activities including camel rides and go to a natural slide pool on the mountains of Dor. In addition, there will be exciting cultural performances from Rendille and Samburu people. It will be a great idea to learn how these people survive in the Kaisut Desert. Compete with morans in such exciting activities as spear throwing, bow shooting, animal tracking, cow/goat milking etc.

  • Day 4 : Ngurnit

    Our nomadic encounters begin here.   • Day 5 : Ngurnit

  • Day 6 : Ngurnit – South Horr-Loyangalani

    This is a transit day, but we shall have adventurous stops at various desert attractions. Dinner and overnight at Palmshade Camp.

  • Day 7 : Loyangalani – Mt. Kulal

    The Turkana people are a considerable wonder. This is their land. They will be lucky those who visit during the Great Turkana Cultural Festival held in May-June each year.
    There will be a variety of cultural performances, lifestyle lessons, selected activities and a visit (and a night) at Mt. Kulal.

  • Day 8 : Loyangalani – Mt. Kulal

    Mt. Marsabit is 1,000m high Lake Paradise and little Lake, an indigenous forest and desert combine to produce the most compelling landscape on earth.
    Elephants and Greater Kudu abound

  • Day 11 : Samburu

    From Marsabit we head to Samburu with packed lunches and enjoy game drives for the rest of the day till evening. Dinner and overnight at selected lodge in Samburu.

  • Day 12 : Olpejeta Conservancy

    Our climax of safari will be exciting game drives in the Olpejeta.

  • Day 13 : Olpejeta Conservancy

    Our climax of safari will be exciting game drives in the Olpejeta.

  • Day 14 : Nairobi

    We return to Nairobi for a celebration dinner.
