Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi – Jaipur

  Today you arrive at Delhi, the capital of India. Upon your arrival you are greeted by our local representative and are driven by an air conditioned car to the Pink City - Jaipur (approx 267 Kms / 7H 13M) in an air conditioned car. Check in at the hotel in Jaipur. Rest and refresh.

• Day 2 : Jaipur

  After Breakfast you visit the City Palace in the afternoon, which is still the formal residence of the royal family. You also visit Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory, which is the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories. Then proceed to Hawa Mahal. The splendid Rajputana architecture, still speaks the glory of the royal family. Rest of the day is at leisure.

• Day 3 : Jaipur

  After breakfast you are driven by car to Amber Fort (approx 12.29 kms / 40M). The solemn dignity of its red sandstone and white marble pavilions, when reflected in the lake at the foot hill, is a sight to behold. Also visit the Jaigarh Fort, which is on top of the hill, while Amber Fort is at the bottom. The highlight of this Fort is the massive cannon by the name of "Jaivan". Jaivan, the cannon, is believed to be the largest cannon in the World. Later you are driven back to the city. In the evening enjoy time shopping around the local Bazaar as Jaipur is famous for its handicrafts and precious and semiprecious stones.

• Day 4 : Jaipur - Pali

  In the morning after breakfast you are driven by car to Pali (approx 303.50 kms/8H 10M).Upon arrival check in at the hotel.

  Today morning after breakfast you are driven by car to Rohet (approx 199.89 kms / 5H 37M).Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Today you enjoy a beautiful Village Safari - it is a complete cultural experience. Rest of the day is at leisure.

• Day 6 : Rohet - Jodhpur

  Today after breakfast you are driven by car to Jodhpur (approx 43.57 kms / 1H 17M). Rest of the day is at leisure.

  Today morning after breakfast you are driven by car to Mehrangarh Fort. Seven gates have to be crossed to reach the fort. It is the living proof of the hard work and skill of the Jodhpuri sculptor's. Later you are driven to Jaswant Thada. Close to the fort complex lies white marble cenotaph, built in 1899 in commemoration of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. It is an example of architectural brilliance in India. Next you are driven by car to Umaid Bhavan Palace. It was built in a time of peace and is quite western in its design. It was built as a famine relief project which would provide employment to people for 16 years. The palace now runs as a hotel, though, a part of it has been retained as a museum and part as royal residence.

• Day 8 : Jodhpur

  In the morning after breakfast you are driven to the Government Museum situated in the pleasant Umaid Gardens. It has a rich collection of weapons, textiles, miniature portraits, antique weapons and local crafts. Later you are driven to the Maha Mandir Temple, that literally means the great temple. The temple with 84 beautifully carved pillars is an architectural wonder. In the evening you are driven to the Clock Tower, a popular landmark in the old city near the Sardar Market. One can find wide range of textiles, silver, handicrafts and aromatic spices here. You can also tickle your taste buds with colorful Indian sweets.

• Day 9 : Jodhpur - Jaiselmer

  Today morning after breakfast you are driven to Jaisalmer (approx 289.10 kms / 8H 30M). Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

  In the morning after breakfast you are driven by car to Natmalji ki Haveli. This haveli is still considered the best in Jaisalmer in terms of grandeur. Later proceed to Patwon ki Haveli. It was the first haveli erected in Jaisalmer and it is not a single haveli but a cluster of 5 small havelis. After this you proceed towards Jaisalmer Fort. The yellow fortress, which rises above the city on Trikuta Hill is the undisputed highlight of Jaisalmer. Nearly a quarter of Jaisalmer's population still lives in the old fort, which has its own water supply and timeless ambience. You can even shop for souvenirs like jewelries , cloths and many more from the shops in the fort.

• Day 11 : Jaiselmer

  In the morning after breakfast you are driven by car to Pokhran (approx 123.67 Kms / 4H 7M). Here you visit the Pokhran Fort. Also known as Balagarh, it was built in the 14th century by Marwar Thakur, Rao Maldeo. The fort is built in yellow sandstone, which is widely available in the region.

  Today morning after breakfast you are driven to Bikaner (approx 347.61 kms / 10H 34M). Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

  In the morning after breakfast you are driven by car to the Junagarh Fort. It is one of the few major forts in Rajasthan which is not built on a hilltop. Later you proceed to Deshnok Karni Mata Temple dedicated to Karni Mata, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The Temple plays host to thousand of rats that form the major attraction here. The rats are considered sacred and worshipped accordingly.

• Day 14 : Bikaner - Mandawa

  In the morning after breakfast you are driven by car to Mandawa (approx 274.97 kms / 8H). Upon arrival check in at the hotel and rest.
