Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Nairobi

  Arriving in Kenya at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport today you will be met at the airport and transferred to your city hotel to spend your first night in this part of Africa.
• Day 2 : Nairobi

  You will have the chance to sleep in this morning to recover from your flights before being collected and taken to visit the Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage to see some of the amazing conservation work taking place. In the afternoon you will enjoy an "Out of Africa" experience, visiting the Karen Blixen Museum and the Giraffe Centre, having a chance to feed some of the resident Rothschild Giraffes.
• Day 3 : Nairobi - Amboseli

  This morning will be the start of your incredible safari as you catch a flight directly into Amboseli National Park, to spend 2 nights at a tented camp in a private concession area, with game drives and walking safaris included.

• Day 4 : Amboseli National Park

  Being in a private concession allows you exciting walking safaris and night drives, and you will also spend some time visiting a local village.
• Day 5 : Amboseli - Tarangire

  This morning you will be driven out from Amboseli to the Namanga Border gate, where you will cross into Tanzania and be met by your private driver-guide.You will continue to Tarangire National Park to spend 3 nights in a luxury tented camp in the heart of the park.
• Day 6 : Tarangire

  You will have 2 full days to enjoy the beauty and wildlife of Tarangire. 1 x walking safari and 1 x night game drive are included in your stay here, adding to the excitement of your visit.
• Day 7 : Tarangire

  You will have 2 full days to enjoy the beauty and wildlife of Tarangire. 1 x walking safari and 1 x night game drive are included in your stay here, adding to the excitement of your visit.
• Day 8 : Tarangire - Ngorongoro

  From Tarangire you will be driven to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive before continuing up the outer slopes of the Ngorongoro Crater to your lodge right on the rim. You will spend 2 nights with incredible views over one of Africa's most remarkable game viewing locations.
• Day 9 : Ngorongoro Crater

  A wildlife highlight awaits you today as you drive down the steep walls of the Ngorongoro Crater and onto the floor below. You will spend the day on a game drive, enjoying a picnic lunch surrounded by wildlife before returning to the Crater rim to again marvel at the spectacular views.
• Day 10 : Ngorongoro - Serengeti

  Heading back down the outer slopes, you will be taken from the Crater to the Manyara Airstrip in time for your flight into the Serengeti National Park. You will fly to either the southern or northern Serengeti, depending on the time of year, in order to stay at a mobile luxury tented camp which follows the flow of the wildebeest migration. The next 3 nights will be spent in the remarkable Serengeti.
• Day 11 : Serengeti National Park

  These 2 full days will be spent on game drives on the Serengeti plains, searching for the best sightings of the wildebeest migration and the other incredible wildlife present in this park.
• Day 12 : Serengeti National Park

  These 2 full days will be spent on game drives on the Serengeti plains, searching for the best sightings of the wildebeest migration and the other incredible wildlife present in this park.
• Day 13 : Serengeti - Kigali

  After one more game viewing activity this morning you will fly directly from the Serengeti across the border into Rwanda, to land in Kigali.
  
  You will be met at the airport and transferred to your city hotel for the night.
• Day 14 : Kigali - Volcanoes National Park

  Following a morning city tour and a visit to the Genocide Memorial, you will be driven from Kigali to the Virungas Mountain Range where you will spend the next 2 nights in this beautiful, lush location.
• Day 15 : Volcanoes National Park

  Waking up early with much excitement today you will head to the Volcanoes National Park to start your amazing gorilla trek. Hiking through thick rainforest in central Africa will be a highlight you will never forget, culminating with an hour spent observing the behaviour of endangered, wild mountain gorillas. Feel the thrill of being up close to an enormous silverback and be surrounded by his family as they move and feed right next to you.
• Day 16 : Day of Departure

  With the memories of the past 2 weeks imprinted in your mind you will take a leisurely drive back to Kigali, admiring the mountainous scenery and fertile farmland.
  
  In Kigali you will be dropped off at the airport in time for your international departure flight after experiencing the African journey of a lifetime.
