Day 3 : HALFDAY CU CHI TUNNEL – FLY TO DANANG - HOIAN
Pick up from your hotel to transfer to the Cu Chi tunnels. The trip to Cu Chi will take approximately one and a half hours by bus. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions during times of war.
Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. You will also see and learn about the many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war.
Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla fighters food during the war) will be served. Break time for relax or time for those who want to try their aim on the shooting range, firing the same model guns that were used in the war. Return to Saigon then you are free until transfer to airport for flight to Danang. Arrival in Danang, you will be transferred to hotel in Hoian by 45 mins drive.

Day 4 : HOIAN – MY SON SANCTUARY
In the morning, our bus and tour guide pick you up at your hotel ( in Hoi An ancient town area) depart for My Son Holy land. We will spend 2 hours to enjoy and discover the beauty of Acient buidings at of the Champa Kingdom with our tour guide. My Son is the Holy Land surrounded by the marvelous mountains, 48km west of Hoi An. My Son was chosen as a religious center, built in the late 4th century under the Cham’s King Bhadravaman. It is a huge religious complex with over 70 towers and temples of different architectures. Wander through the elaborate carvings and sculptures of the Cham people, tourists are welcomed at the Old Tower of the Cham.
12:00 -14:00 : Leaving My Son for Cau Lau boat station and taking a boat trip on Thu Bon river .You will visit a village to see the lifestlye of the local people here. You will have soft lunch on the boat before the boat stop at Kim Bong Carpentry Village – The traditional job of the villagers you will be visiting.
The boat trip will finish at Bach Dang Boat station and you will be walked back to your hotel.

Day 7 : NGUYEN DYNASTY’S ANCIENT CITY AND THE PERFUME RIVER AT SUNSET – FLY TO HANOI
Hue was the capital city of the Nguyen lords that took over Vietnam, in 1802. The Nguyen dynasty, that lasted 13 kings and 143 years, and was the last imperial dynasty. The french had a big part in establishing the Nguyen dynasty and also its downfall, when the communist-led VietCong movement took power in the “August Revolution” of 1945. You’ll walk the ancient grounds of 3 Emperors Mausoleums, Minh Mang’s, Khai Dinh’s, and Tu Duc’s.
Before lunch stop and see how the iconic rice paddy hats and incense stick are made.
Listed by UNESCO as world heritage the Imperial city is the walled fortress and palace built in 1805, surrounded by moat. It took thousands of workers 27 years to build the city and walls 6.6 meters in height, 21 meters thick and 10 kilometers in circumference. It’s divided into two main parts excluding houses and mansions: The Citadel, and The Forbidden City.
Finally return on a gentle boat ride as you watch the sunset over the Perfume river, named such because in fall the flowers from orchards upriver fall into the water, giving the river a perfume-like aroma. Then we will transfer you to airport for flight to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi, you will be transferred to hotel for check.

Day 8 : HANOI – SAPA – TREK TO BLACK H’MONG TRIBE
In the early morning, bus driver will pick up from the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter then depart to Sapa, following Noi Bai - Lao Cai high-way. Along the way, you will have chance to contemplate the beauty of northwest mountains that terraced fields are sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Have a short break then continue the trip to Sapa.
13h00: Arrive in Sapa, our tourguide will pick you up at bus station then transfer to hotel. Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures.
In the afternoon, we will take 2 - hour trekking to visit Cat Cat village. It is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Then take a walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.
You are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping by your own expense. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 9 : OFF THE BEATEN TRACK – NIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI
Be ready at your hotel in Sapa at about 09:00am, our local guide and driver for a short road transfer along of main road northeastwards to the starting point of trekking. Hiking uphill on a rocky path for 2 hours along the narrow valley which runs between two high mountains passing two villages of the Black H'mong people: Sau Chua and Sa Seng.
The H'mong people here have just recently changed their living way from swidden cultivation style into the sedentary one. So there are still a lot traces of the past time can be seen: rudimentary houses, stone wall around houses... Lunch break in the village.
After lunch, we continue along the same trail gradually uphill the Den Thang mountain for an hour to Hang Da Village of the H'mong which sits at 1,800m height and over looking down the Muong Hoa Valley. Paying visit to several local houses.
Leaving Hang Da and enjoy easy walk on high elevation for half an hour which offers great view of Muong Hoa Valley until arriving to Hau Chu Ngai, another village of the Black H'mong. This portion of the trek offers chances for taking the best photos of landscapes.
Getting downhill for another hour along a dirt track to Pho Village at the center of Hau Thao Commune. You will be picked up from here to get back to Lao Cai station and overnight on 4 berth shared cabin.

Day 10 : HANOI – HALONG WORLD HERITAGE - OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE
Arival in Hanoi, you will arrange transfer by yourself to meeting point for our shuttle bus to pick up.
With over 1600 islets, countless towering limestone karsts and hidden jungle caves, Vietnam’s “Bay of Descending Dragons” is a must-see destination for every traveller to Southeast Asia. Stay for 1 night in the bay aboard a Halong Bay cruise to experience all that this magical landscape has to offer.
Relax on the 3.5 hour journey, ready for 2 days 1 night of exploring ahead. At the port, board your traditional junk boat and set sail through the emerald green waters of Halong Bay. Admire the endless islands and jungle-clad limestone karsts of this fascinating UNESCO World Heritage site and sit down to a delicious lunch on the sundeck of the boat.
In the afternoon, head off of the boat to visit vast caves and white sand beaches, hidden among the towering rock formations, and take to the water for a swim or a kayak. Then attend a cooking demonstration with our Chef to learn one of the most popular cuisines in Vietnam
In the evening, there is plenty of time to relax on the junk's sundeck, before a sumptuous dinner with your fellow guests.

Day 13 : EXPLORE ANGKOR TEMPLES – BLESSING CEREMONY BY BUDDHIST MONKS
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, built from the late 12th century to the early 13th century by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers, the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King, then visit Ta Prohm, surrounded by jungle.
Visit Angkor Wat, the largest temples in world and covers an area of 200 hectares and surrounded by moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters. Early this evening, we will take the Tuk Tuk (the most common taxi in Cambodia) to cruise around the Siem Reap and town and and for a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety for your journey. Day 14 : BANTEAY SREI – PREAH KHAN TEMPLE
Breakfast at hotel. Visit Banteay Srei, constructed at the late 10th century by a Brahmin counselor under a powerking Rajendarvarman. It was loosely translated to citadel of the woman, but it is a modern appellation that probably refers to the delicate beauty of the carvings. Along the way we make stopover at the Preah Dark village and we follow these with a visit the Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive relief’s depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon, Visit Preah Khan temple, built by King Jayavarman VII dedicated to his father. It is a huge, highly exportable monastic complex, and served as a Buddhist monastery and school, engaging over 1000 monks. Continue to Neak Pean, a small island temple located in the middle of the last Baray, constructed by a Khmer king in the Angkor area. Overnight at the hotel in Siem Reap

Day 15 : SIEM REAP - LUANG PRABANG CITY TOUR
Your driver will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for flight to Luang Prabang.
On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to check in the hotel.
After a soft rest, your city tour begins with a visit to the magnificent Wat Xiengthong, a superb piece of Lao temple architecture, which presents a sweeping two-tiered roof and ornate mosaics including a beautiful ‘tree of life ‘glass montage on the rear temple wall. If time permits, we will take a short walk around the small streets of city center, watching the life of local people, and visiting the traditional house of Heuan Chan, the Chantal wooden house dating back to 100 years old. After that, you will visit Royal Palace Museum, which was built in 1904 during the French colonial era for King Sisavang Vong and his family. Late afternoon, we climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a panoramic sunset view of the city and the Mekong River.
The welcome dinner will be served at the local restaurant with traditional dance & folk song, the best chance to experience Lao culture
The tour ends after a visit to the famous Night Market, where you can find a lovely selection of handmade textiles made by local and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 16 : CRUISING THE MIGHTY MEKONG TO PAK OU CAVES
Wake up as the sun rises, we will prepare to join the most sacred tradition of Laos, the daily morning alms giving, which dates to the 14thcentury. More than 200 Buddhist monks depart from various temple to gather their daily meal from the faithful residents sitting quietly on the streets.
From there, we will visit the temporary morning market near the former Royal Palace. Just set on the ground, the local people come here to barter their day’s catch from rice, to vegetable, to fish, or chicken. This is the best way to experience the taste of local life
Breakfast at the hotel, we will first visit the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene. After that, we embark on the Nava Mekong cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside, before reaching the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, two linked caves crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. The authentic Lao lunch will be served on the leisurely cruise back to Luang Prabang
On arrival back in the city, we visit Wat Visoun, dating back to 1513 during the reign of King Wisunarat (Visoun), this is Luang Prabang’s oldest temple and was once home to the Prabang Buddhas. From there we stroll around to visit Wat Aham, which was once the residence of Sangkharat, the supreme head of Lao Buddhism. Our last stop today is the Traditional Art and Ethnology Center (closed on Monday) to learn about Laos’ many ethnic cultures. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 17 : KUANG SI WATERFALL
Begin today’s close-up look at daily Laotian life by heading out for a morning at a community-based living rice farm in the idyllic countryside outside Luang Prabang. Surrounded by mountains and rice paddies, you’ll have an opportunity to experience rural life as a Laotian farmer would, trying your hand at various farm activities – or observing them from a traditional Lao rice house balcony, set amidst rice terraces and an organic vegetable farm. You’ll have time to check out nearby workshops where local bamboo weavers, blacksmiths and sugar cane processors practice their crafts. Then take a tour of the organic garden to learn how natural herbs are used in traditional medicine.

Later on, we drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Waterfall which is the biggest in the Luang Prabang area with three tiers leading to a 50-metre drop into spectacular azure pools before flowing downstream. The pools also make great swimming holes and are very popular with both tourists and locals
We will also take a short visit to the Bear Rescue Center, which houses a couple of dozen animals rescued from the hands of poachers and traffickers.
On the way back to the town, we will take a short visit to the Ock Pop Tock Living Craft Center, set serenely close to the Mekong, this beautiful, traditionally styled workshop, where weavers, spinners and batik makers produce top-quality fabrics, offers free tours every half-hour.

5. PAYMENT& DEPOSIT
A deposit of 30% or 50% (Depend on accommodation type included on itinerary) of the tour value or US$ 300 per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges (processing fees) is required upon confirmation of your booking (If this amount is less than US$500, we would suggest you to pay us in full before you arrive). Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms and Conditions.
The remaining balance of the tour value (70%) is due upon your arrival in indochinaprivatetours, payable at our office. Cash is preferred to reduce any processing fees that may affect your cost.
6. CHILD DISCOUNT
Free of charge for one child who is under the age of four years old when accompanied by at least two full paying adults and share the same room with them. This discount is subject to availability for airfares and will be charged if any usage of airfare on tour.
A tour price of 75% of full paying adult will be charged for one child from 4 to 11 year old when accompanied by at least two full paying adults and stays in the same room. An extra bed is provided without any payment.
Children at the age of twelve or older will be charged as an adult. Please be prepared to show appropriate identification clearly stating the date of birth when confirming the services.
Cancellation & Refund Policy :
CANCELLATION
We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Viland Trave, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen.
In the event of cancellation, the cancellation fee will be applied as below:
More than 45 days prior to departure: The total deposit paid to us (30% of tour value) will act as your cancellation fee to cover hotel charges and organization fees. (Because to book accommodations for your tour, we need to pre pay for all hotels as in your itinerary)
07 – 14 days: 22 - 45 days prior to departure: 60% on total value of the Tour Cost charged, due to hotel charges for no-shows and organizing fees.
01 – 06 days: Within 1-22 days prior to departure: 100% on total charged.
No-Show: 100% on total charge.
After the trip has commenced, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours.
