After breakfast proceed for a day excursion to Mathura and Vrindavan (approx an hour drive) Upon arrival in Mathura, meet your private guide and continue on to Vrindavan (11 kms formMathura). As you pass the woods where Lord Krishna frolicked with the Gopis and tenderly wooed Radha,learn about this cow-herding community where he spent his childhood.
In Vrindavan, continue the Holi celebration in full glory with a visit to the famous Banke-BihariTemple. Accompanied by your guide, watch Hindu priests throw colored water and marigoldgarlands over the devotees, and feel the crowd surge forward to get a better glimpse of theirbeloved Lord Krishna. See the town come alive with more abir-tossing, folk theater re-enactments and singing contests in the streets. Finally, when you've had your fill of bright colors and boisterous fun,
Return to Mathura in the afternoon.
Lunch will be arranged in a local restaurant
After lunch we will witness the Holi celebration at the Holi Gate
The skies were brilliantly colored by GULAL and ABIR along with flower petals which created anextremely vibrant scene. The celebrations continued till the twilight hours enveloping the entireJanmabhoomi premises with beautiful colors announcing the onset of PHAGUN.
Later in the evening drive back to Agra
