This tour is for those who want to birdwatch only. You will have a chance to spot a variety of exotic aquatic, non aquatic and migratory birds! Mikumi National Park offers over 400 species of birds. It is a birdwatching lover paradise! Our expert professional birds guides will help you create lifelong memories.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Transfer to Mikumi and Evening Birdwatching

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel/port/airport in Dar Es Salaam. You will proceed with a drive to Morogoro town where you will break for lunch.
After lunch, you will proceed with the drive to Mikumi National Park. You will check in at your hotel and thereafter proceed to the park to start your birdwatching. At the end of your birdwatching escapade, we will take you back to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

*Main Destination: Mikumi National Park

*Accommodation: Camp Bastian Mikumi, Mid-range lodge located just outside Mikumi NP

*Meals & Drinks: Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included), Drinks not included

Day 2 : Birdwatching and Transfer to Dar Es Salaam

Today you will start early in the morning. After breakfast at the hotel, your professional guide will take you to the bush to spot and take optional photos of more exotic birds.

In the afternoon, you will stop for lunch. At around 4PM you will start your drive back to Dar Es Salaam. Depending on traffic, you will arrive in Dar Es Salaam at around 9/10PM.

*Accommodation: No accommodation (End of tour)
