From Zanzibar then visit to Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park
Day 1 : Zanzibar to Arusha Airport to Tarangire National Park
Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer you to Zanzibar airport to catch a flight to Arusha airport.
At 9:00am, pick up from Arusha airport and depart for Tarangire National Park for game drive. You will first stop at the last minute supermarket in Arusha town for any last minute shopping before heading to Tarangire. The drive is along the Great Northern Highway through the Masai Steppe and numerous villages to Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is famous for its towering baobab trees and large population of elephants. You can expect to spot heads of wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, hippo, baboons, plenty of antelope, and the giant African elephant. For birdwatchers, this is paradise. Over 400 species of birds have been recorded here, including the rare species of ash staling, greater kudu and fringe-eared oryx, among the rare species found in Tarangire.
Predators like lion, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and the ever-elusive leopard also inhabit this park. Tarangire Park forms the central annual migratory cycle within Tarangire's Lake Manyara ecosystem, which includes up to 3,000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and around 30,000 zebras. Late evening drive to MOTTO COTTAGE LODGE at the foot of East Africa's Rift Valley. Dinner and overnight there.

Day 2 : Lake Manyara National Park
Distance: 1.5km
Out-of-game viewing time: 10 min.
After breakfast, you will take a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park and start the game drive after all park formalities. Lake Manyara sits in a spectacular location and is made up of overlapping habitats including groundwater forests, acacia forests, swamps, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs and the vast area occupied by the lake.
Thanks to all this, the park is home to a large number of animal species and incredible winged fauna. Lake Manyara has the highest concentration of baboons found anywhere in the world and the most prominent features are large flocks of flamingos and the tree climbing lion of Lake Manyara. Other animals to see are the herds of buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, warthogs and numerous antelopes.
After the Lake Manyara National safari, you will drive to the village of the Masai tribe to experience their culture and traditional way of life. You can see them singing Masai songs, jumping higher, they will show you that they are at home inside. You will have a chance to know everything about their life indeed.
Late in the evening, return to Arusha airport to catch a flight back to Zanzibar.
