Selous Game Reserve covers 5% of Tanzania's total area land area and is approximately 54,600sqkm. Selous is Africa's largest wild life reserve and Tanzania's most extensive protected area. Selous provide shelter of large number of elephants, lions, big populations of buffaloes, Wild dogs, crocodiles and hippopotamus; in Rufiji River also has a lot of bird life. The reserve is named after the one of famous British But now days selous Game reserves is called Nyerere National Park.

Day 1 : Dar es salaam to Selous (Game drive /Game viewing)
Start 4.30 am from hotel, Dar Es Salaam and drive to Selous Game Reserve. After arivving at Selous GR(Nyerere National Park) at 08:00am, you will have a breakfast at 8;00 in the morning At Mloka safaris lodge after breakfast you will go for fully day game drives with packed lunch boxes in Selous game reserve. During lunch time you enjoy picnic lunch in the picnic site the guide will select for you. After your picnic Lunch and some relaxation you continue with game drive until to the 6:30 evening. The safari guide points out rare species of animals like the Wild Dogs, Giraffe, Elephants ,lion Nile Crocodile, hippopotamus along the banks of the Rufiji river, Cape buffalo, wild beat and Eland .Dinner and Overnight Stay at Mloka Safaris lodge.
Day 2 : Sunrise Boat safaris, then back to Dar es Salaam
Start early in the morning with sunrise Boat safari at 6:30am for, you will have 2 hours and a half Boat safari In rufiji river then you will have the breack fast then you will pack and leave selous, start a safari to Dar es salaam.. Drinks will be served on the way to Dar es Salaam. You are expected to be in Dar essalaam at 3:00pm. You have the ability to take boat to zanzibar or Plaine to zanibar or we will bring you back to the hotel in Dar es salaaam. This will be the end of our two days safari.
