Situated in the southwest of Zimbabwe, Hwange National Park is the largest National Park in the country, covering more than 14,600 square kilometres (5,863 square miles) or 1,460,000 hectares. Hwange National Park really is a great game park, for me it is genuine Africa, not filled with tourists in minibuses crowding around a lion kill as one might expect in Kruger .

Hwange offers unique sightings of less common wildlife, such as the brown hyena, a smaller, desert-adapted version of the well-known spotted hyena. Although not endemic to the area, Hwange National Park is one of the best places to see them. Keep an eye out for the sneaky aardvark, porcupine, and pangolin as they are notoriously tough to spot.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Livingstone to Hwange national park

  Itinerary
  
  At 5.00PM: greet and meet sessions
  
  This will be done at the lodge or hotel a day before the actual tour starts.
  
  The team leader will brief you about the tour that will take place the nex day.
  
  DAY 1; 06.30AM: pick up from your hotel
  Start off from Livingstone town to the Zambian / Zimbabwe border post to process your travelling documents.
  
  From Victoria falls town to Hwange is a journey of approximately 100+ kilometers
  
  Upon arrival at Hwange wildlife safari lodge,will do a half day game drive in Hwange National Park with a professional safari guide in an open 4 *4 pop up roof safari vehicle
  
  Great chances to see many animals in the early day. Spend our driving across the park using different loops to maximize the chances of seeing lots of animals such as elephants, leopards, zebras, wild beasts, lions and many more.
  
  At 5:30 pm will wind up our tour and head back to the camp.
  
  07.00PM: dinner time and thereafter retire to sleep.

• Day 2 : Hwange national park

  DAY 2; 04.00AM: wakeup call
  04.15AM: start off for a full game drive to Hwange national park in an open 4X4 Safari vehicle with our experienced tour guide with packed breakfast and lunch which will be taken at different selected places within the park.
  
  We will visit different watering points or pools and loops to see mammals coming to have an early drink.
  
  Great chances to see many animals in the early day. Spend our driving across the park using different loops to maximize the chances of seeing lots of animals such as elephants, leopards, zebras, wild beasts, lions and many more.
  
  The game drive ends around 05.00PM and head back to the camp.
  
  7:30 pm cultural dances and a farewell buffet meals and wines.
  Thereafter, retire to sleep

  ACTIVITIES:
  # Victoria falls guided tour ( Zimbabwe)
  # Sunset boat cruise (Radisson Blu boat cruise) in Zambia.
  
  DAY 3: At 06.30AM: will have breakfast
  
  07.00AM: start off from the camp in Hwange National Park to Victoria falls,a journey of approximately 2 hours driving.
  
  Upon arrival at Victoria falls, will do Victoria falls guided tour on Zimbabwe side.
  12:30 pm have lunch at Maronga restaurant in Victoria falls town in Zimbabwe.
  
  Thereafter,we will cross to Zambia for a complimentary Sunset boat cruise on the mighty Zambezi river ( Radsson Blu or Lion King boat cruise, the floating village)as a token of appreciation for taking up this wonderful Hwange national park safari tour with Siloka island safaris.
  
  At 18:00 hrs you will be transferred to the hotel in Livingstone town .
