Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : NJP RLY STATION/IXB BAGDOGRA AIRPORTDARJEELING

  (Distance-67.1 kms/Duration-3-4 hrs) Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 ft.). On the Way to Darjeeling visit Rohini View Point, Sonada Monastery, Margetshope Tea Estate, Gidda Pahar. On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

• Day 2 : DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING

  (Distance-/Duration: 3-4hrs) Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. World's 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Evening free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling. [

• Day 3 : DARJEELING -KALIMPONG VIA LAMAHATTA

  (Distance-50.4 kms/Duration: 2-3hrs) After breakfast proceed to picturesque drive to Kalimpong(5,500 ft.). via Lama hatta. Lamahatta has been developed as an ecotourism place in late 2012. Lamahatta is located at an altitude of about 5,700 feet and at a distance of 23kms from Darjeeling hill town (takes a little over an hour by car). Although it's just a small village where farming and cattle rearing are the main sources of livelihood, Lamahatta is well connected by the Darjeeling-Kalimpong state highway. Lamahatta is a romantic honeymoon place near Darjeeling. On the way to Kalimpong Visit The Teesta River View Point, The River Rafting view point, Triveni(Famous Lover Point), Lamahatta, Peshok Tea Garden. Evening Check in Hotel. Night stay at Kalimpong.

• Day 4 : KALIMPONG- GANGTOK

  (Distance : 80 kms/Duration:4 hrs) This morning after breakfast transfer to Gangtok (6,950 ft.) via Chitrey check post towards Gangtok. Upon arrival check-in to your hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Day 5 : EXCURSION TO CHANGU LAKE/BABA MANDIR

  (Distance: 53 kms/Duration:3-4hrs)
  
  After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir,Cool,serene water and the picturesque beauty- Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lakes of the region- A temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside - Primula flower and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place- Till April it is full of snow and lay frozen- Back to the hotel after a long journey take rest and night stay at Gangtok.
  
  (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provide alternate sightseeing.) **ISSUANCE OF PERMIT FOR NATHULA PASS DEPENDS UPON THE AVAILABILITY. IT IS CLOSED ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY. (you have to pay extra charges directly to the Government while entering Nathulla pass.)

• Day 6 : GANGTOK - NJP RAILWAY STATION/BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

  (Distance- 122.3 km /Duration: 4-5 hrs) After breakfast drive to Siliguri/Bagdogra Airport (IXB) New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. The Drive is through hill and with scenic beauty- stoppage at Rangpo/Chitrey or Melli for a cup of Tea is advisable if time permits. One stop coronation bridge if time permits. Drive to Bagdogra/Njp. Guests is advised to start early and not to rush- Forwarding journey.
