Today golfers transfer to play 18-holes of golf at White River Country Club – a sociable club with a beautifully lush course and abundant bird life.
Your return transfers, tee times and shared cart will be arranged for you. After play enjoy socialising with fellow golfers at the clubhouse.
Day 3 : Sabie Sun Golf Course
This morning play 18-holes at the Sabie Sun Golf Course – a challenging championship course that is tough but fair and will provide a memorable golfing day (including green fees and shared cart).
Afterwards we enter the world famous Kruger National Park. Game viewing opportunities should present themselves almost immediately and hopefully you will see several species of antelope, zebra, wildebeest and maybe even giraffe before you reach your rest camp.
The Kruger National Park offers a choice of self-catering rest camps, each situated in a different section of the park with its own unique flora and fauna - e.g. Skukuza, Letaba, Olifants, Lower Sabie, Pretoriuskop, Satara and Berg-en-Dal. Accommodation is in simple but comfortable thatched game park bungalows, with your guide having an allowance to purchase breakfast, lunch and dinner for you at the camp restaurant each day.
After checking in, settle in and relax in the atmosphere that only the African bushveld can provide.
Day 4 : Skukuza
This morning we play 9-holes of golf on the untamed (and unfenced) staff course at Skukuza.
Afterwards enjoy game viewing with your guide in the Kruger National Park with its magnificently diverse wildlife and abundant birds.
Day 5 : Kruger National Park
After some final game viewing in the Kruger National Park, today we drive 6-hours into the small mountain kingdom of Swaziland.
We travel through beautiful mountains and gorges to the capital of Mbabane, where we stop at a local candle and glass factory to watch craftsmen at work. We also visit a local market, before continuing to our hotel.
Day 6 : Royal Swazi Country Club
Enjoy playing 18-holes at the Royal Swazi Country Club today – a scenic championship course that takes its shape from the Lugogo Mountain Range and curves gently down into the valley. Its beautiful lakes, gullies and clusters of magnificent trees and indigenous plants will add enjoyment to your day.
After play enjoy the leisure facilities of your spa resort.
Non-Golfers: Two spa treatments.
Day 7 : Transfer to Mpumalanga Airport
Transfer 3-hours to Mpumalanga Airport for your onward flight.
You will be met at Johannesburg Airport and transferred to your airport hotel for overnight.
Day 8 : Chobe National Park
Take the free hotel shuttle to Johannesburg Airport for your onward flight.
You will be met at Kasane Airport and transferred to your game lodge near the Chobe River.
Chobe National Park is Botswana’s premier wildlife reserve and is uniquely situated at the confluence of the Zambezi and Chobe Rivers, where four African countries meet – Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia.
After checking in to your lodge, enjoy a boat ride on the Chobe River, which is home to some of Botswana’s most spectacular wildlife, as well as abundant bird life. Game viewing opportunities should present themselves almost immediately in this vast game sanctuary and hopefully you will see elephant, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, antelope and other river-based wildlife today. Afterwards dine in the atmosphere that only the African bushveld can provide.
Day 9 : Chobe National Park
Rise at dawn to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day and enjoy a thrilling open-top game viewing drive with a lodge ranger.
Chobe National Park is home to vast herds of buffalo and elephant, as well as numerous other species which roam in profusion and diversity. During the dry season, vast elephant herds migrate from both south and north to congregate in their thousands along the Chobe River – the largest concentration of elephants in the whole of Africa. Also hope to see lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons and many other interesting animals before returning to your lodge.
Afterwards enjoy playing 9-holes of golf at the Chobe Mowana resort course. After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the Milky Way – including the spectacular Southern Cross.
Day 10 : Victoria Falls
Today transfer to Kasane on the Zimbabwe border.
After completing border formalities, connect with your 2-hour shared transfer to your hotel near Victoria Falls on the mighty Zambezi River.
Check in, settle in and relax whilst you catch your first glimpses of the magnificent Smoke That Thunders first discovered by Dr. David Livingstone and still one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. The flow of water over the Victoria Falls is greatest from February to June following the summer rains, but they are a magnificent sight at any time of year.
Day 11 : Victoria Falls
Today we recommend exploring on foot the mighty Victoria Falls and its rainforest, which offers magnificent views.
Afterwards you can participate in other optional activities such as a helicopter flight over the falls or an elephant interaction.
In the late afternoon we recommend an optional Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River where you may see hippos, crocodiles and abundant bird life.
Note: We suggest you take your own raincoat for walking in the rainforest, as those on hire are well used.
Day 12 : Elephant Hills
Enjoy 18-holes of championship golf today at Elephant Hills, where warthogs, impala and the odd elephant roam free on the fairway set along the mighty Zambezi River.
Afterwards you can participate in many local optional activities such as a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River where you may see hippos, crocodiles and abundant bird life or an elephant-back safari.
