3 Day Camping Safari

Package Overview

Day 1: Depart Moshi at 7am for Tarangire. Arrive Tarangire at 10am; Game drive until 4pm. Afternoon transfer to either Karatu Highlands or Ngorongoro Crater rim for overnight (dependent on seasonal crowding and at guide’s discretion).
Day 2: Morning descend into Ngorongoro Crater for game drive. Afternoon transfer to Karatu or Mto wa Mbu (at guide’s discretion) for overnight.
Day 3: 8am depart for Lake Manyara for whole day game drive. Afternoon return to Moshi.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Tarangire

  We only include Tarangire park during the dry season. This means you get to witness highest game density; second only to Ngorongoro. The park will have large herds of Elephants (at times over 200 individuals), large buffalo herds (up to 100 strong), Wilderbeast, Zebra, lions, warthogs and many other animals who will be congregating along the Tarangire river.
• Day 2 : Ngorongoro

  The Ngorongoro Crater, described as one of the wonders of the world, is an amazing natural sanctuary not to be missed. Game viewing here is among the very best Africa has to offer and is excellent at any time of year. The crater is very small at only about 10 miles across. With just one game drive in the Crater, it is possible to circumnavigate the crater several times and see all the main highlights.
• Day 3 : Lake Manyara

  Game viewing is generally fair to good in Lake Manyara at any time of year. Lake Manyara is a beautiful little park and is famous for its tree-climbing lions, elephants and large troops of baboons. The park is home to an amazing variety of birds and animals considering its small size. A short visit to this serene park will greatly diversify your safari experience as the lush green jungle habitat is of stark contrast to the other parks you will visit during your safari.
