Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  Meet at Pangaea Adventures in Valdez for introductions and instruction. We will then load onto the motor boat for a ride out to the Columbia Glacier area for a day of sea kayaking. We will sea kayak for 2 hours before enjoying a picnic lunch on the glacier's moraine, and then we will paddle another two hours before riding the motor boat to the Lodge. Treat yourself to a sauna after a tasty meal.

  • Meals & Drinks Lunch, Dinner
• Day 2 :

  Wake up to a hot breakfast and then enjoy one of the many optional activities. Many people choose to kayak to Bligh Island or up Tatitlek Narrows and/or take a long hike into the rainforest.
  
  Here are some optional activities for this day that require an additional fee:
  
  -Flight seeing over the Columbia Glacier
  -Sea kayaking Glacier Island with the sea lions
  -Go out on a fishing charter for halibut or salmon
  
  Please inquire if you're interested in any of these options!
  
  Enjoy an evening stroll through the forest surrounding Ellamar and return just in time for another tasty meal.
• Day 3 :

  After breakfast, milk your final moments at the lodge before launching in your kayaks to the north. Paddle along an impressive coastline in the direction of Galena Bay, a pretty spot known for viewing sea stars, spawning salmon, and bald eagles. We'll be picked up in the afternoon by the water taxi for our victorious trip back to Valdez.
