Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Transfer from Kigali to Akagera National Park.

  In the morning our guide will pick you up from your hotel or airport in Kigali to transfer to Akagera national park. On the way to Akagera we stop in the village of Nyakarambi to see how Imigongo Cow- Dung paintings are created by the Kakira women co-operative. Then proceed with journey to the park. You will arrive to Akagera Park in the afternoon hours. Check into your hotel and then have an evening safari game drive in the park searching for wildlife. Overnight at your lodge/camp.
• Day 2 : Akagera Park Full Day

  In the morning before sunrise, to catch up with the early risers, you will go for another game drive in the park searching for wildlife. The drive through the park will reward you with animals like lions, elephants, buffaloes and many more. Later in the afternoon you will go for a boat ride on Lake Ihema. where you can see the water birds including the rare Shoebill stork, Hippos, Nile Crocodiles, animals that come to water along the lake such as elephant, antelopes of various types, buffaloes and more Overnight at your lodge/camp.
• Day 3 : Transfer to Kigali

  In the morning right after breakfast, you will drive to transfer back to Kigali arriving in the afternoon. With drop off at your town hotel or airport for your onward flight.
