Varkala is so-called "Virgin beach of kerala" Visit "Sivagiri" the memorial of Late.Sri Narayana Guru, the great social reformer of kerala. Visit 1000 years old "Janardhana Swami Temple. Dedicated to Ayyappan and Hanuman, the hill has brought a sobriquet for the region, Southern Kasi (Benares).Enjoy the beautiful Papanasam beach which is a perfect place to watch the sunset or relax gazing at the horizon. The area is covered with coconut palms. This beach is bordered by high cliffs. Right below this cliff is the 500 -meter stretch beaches. Overnight at Varkala.
