Day 1 : Depart Kampala - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart Kampala by 7:30 am with your guide and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park set in the western rift valley. With a lunch break enroute, the drive takes you past some craters, tea plantations and through the Ankole land with its famous long horned Ankole cattle. Queen Elizabeth's various habitants provide home to a variety of big game like the big 5. Arrive at the park in the evening and check in at your accommodation unit for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 : Chimpanzee tracking and Launch cruise.
In the morning, Track Chimps in Kyambura Gorge a natural habitat for these Apes. Do not forget to carry your binoculars as the chimps tend to foliage in the tree canopies. The chimp trek may yield sightings of other primates like the colobus monkeys, baboons, red tailed and velvet monkeys among others. Lunch break.
After lunch, drive to the dock on Kazinga channel for a relaxing launch cruise. The cruise is an excellent way to a wide variety of water birds other wild life coming to water at the channel. Retire to your lodge for a relaxing evening as you watch the spectacular sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 : Game drive - Return to Kampala
Rise very early for a pre breakfast morning game drive. Catch up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts as you look out for a variety of game. Drive back to Kampala arriving in the evening.

Please note that Entebbe International Airport (Uganda's main entry point by air) is 41kms from Kampala (the Capital City of Uganda) where our safaris usually begin and end. On request, we can always arrange for your airport pick up/drop (transfers) or accommodation in Kampala may as well be arranged for you at an extra charge.
In terms of accommodation, prices are based on the budget and up market options. Budget accommodations are in basic units like tents, hostels, lodges and Bandas. Bandas are small medium houses separate from each other. In most cases, these accommodation unit have basic and clean facilities which at times may be shared like the toilets and bathrooms.
Attempts are however always made to reserve self contained units but in Busy seasons these may be sold out and we opt for the available options. Meals at budget accommodations can be served either in dining or canteen. For the up market safari option, accommodation is in ensuite/self contained units with standard facilities and services such as meal.
