Haridwar is a city and municipal corporation in the llaridwar district ol' Uttarakhand, India. With a population of 228,832 in 201 1, it is the seeond-largest city in the state and the largest in the district.

The city is situated on the right bank ol' the Ganges river, at the foothills ol' the Shivalik ranges. Haridwar is regarded as a holy place For Hindus, hosting important religious events and serving as a gateway to several prominent places of worship. Most signilicant of the events is the Kumbha Mela, which is celebrated every 12 years in Haridwar. Shaivites (devotees of Shiva) and Vaishavites (devotees of Vishnu) call the eity Hurdwur and Haridwar, respectively, Herr meaning Shiva and Hari Vishnu.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Departure from Agra

  The train will depart from Agra Junction.

• Day 2 : Arrival at Haridwar & Night Stay

  After reaching Haridwar railway station, will proceed towards hotel. After refreshment, participants can go for sightseeing to different places in Haridwar.
  
  Few palces to visit in Haridwar are
  
  Ganga Aarti :- Haridwar is famous for Har ki Pauri and it's Ganga Aarti. Ganga aarti means worship of Ganga. Lots of people visit this place for Ganga aarti everyday at 06:00 pm - 07:00 pm (Daily).
  
  Bharat mandir :- HaridwarBharat Mata Mandir is a tall 8 floor temple with shining white body. It is situated near to river Ganga in the heart of Haridwar city.
  
  Mansa Devi Temple :- Mansa Devi Temple is located at Bilwa Parvat and can be reach by either 3 km steep trek from Haridwar or by Ropeway also known as Mansa Devi Udankhatola.
  
  Daksha Mahadev temple kankhal :- Daksheswar Mahadev or Daksha Mahadev temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the town of Kankhal. It is named after King Daksha Prajapati, the father of Sati
  
  Har Ki Pauri :- Har Ki Pauri is a major landmark place and a famous ghat on the banks of river Ganga in Haridwar
  
  After dinner, the participants to go back to their roam to start the journey to wards Dehradun, the next day.

• Day 3 : Drive from Haridwar to Dehradun

  At early morning, 07:00 AM, the camp will start the journey from Haridwar to Dehradun. Few places to be wandered in Dehradun like to start from Buddha Temple - mindrolling monasteries is famous for Buddhist structure and holy schools of Tibetan region then to FRl (Forest research institute) is an architecture marvel and vast collection of forestry related items in its six museums and a great place to keep your mind calm , then to Malsi deer park (Dehradun’s first ever zoo and one of the chief attraction of Dehradun) famous for sightseeing of young deer and can sight wide variety of birds and also home for our national bird Peacock protected in cages.
  
  After all these places, we get back to the hotel in Haridwar.

• Day 4 : Going Mussoorie

  Around 8 o'clock after finishing breakfast the camp will start their new day from Dehradun to Mussoorie which is also called as paPhado ki rani (Queen of mountains). The journey of exploring Mussoorie will be in this order
  
  Bhatta Fall- it has beautiful waterfall where one can enjoy immensely in peace with nature and it also has ropeway which connects Bhatta village to mesmerizing Bhatta fall.
  George Everest and Sir George house -It offers spectacular views of snow-clad Himalayan peaks and views of Dehradun valley. It was a home and lab of sir George Everest. He was the surveyor general of India.
  
  Cloud's end — Surrounded by Oak and Deodar forest Cloud's end is landmark to geographical end of Mussoorie. Cloud end is famous for known for pleasant scenic views of hills with enjoyable climate.
  
  Company Garden — it is a popular attraction in Mussoorie. The vibrant garden is a lovely place to spend an entire day out within the lush greenery and the beautiful blossoms. There is amusement parks inside the garden lakes, waterfalls, boating, telescopic view.
  
  Laal tibba - Laal tibba provide mesmerizing view of Himalayan mountain peaks. One can took close look of peaks like Kedarnath, Badrinath, Banderpunch etc with telescope which was installed back in 1967 by municipality.
  
  And after all these places one can enjoy to go in ghoda gadi there and wander in mall road of Mussoorie which is surely a pleasant on eye at night.
