Best Time to Visit Sam Sand Dunes

Like most Indian vacation spots, the ideal time to visit the sand dunes in Jaisalmer is during the winter season. The months between October and March are perfect for a trip in this desert area because the climatic conditions are fairly cool.Jodhpur, the second largest city in Rajasthan is popularly known as the Blue City. The name is clearly befitting as most of the architecture – forts, palaces, temples, havelis and even houses are built in vivid shades of blue.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jodhpur Arrival

  After breakfast, start for Jodhpur city tour. Covering Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, Mehrangarh Fort- situated on a low sandstone hill. Within the fort visit Moti Mahal and Phool Mahal. Also visit Jaswant Thada – an imposing marble cenotaph built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II around 1899, Umed Bawan The grandest of 20th century Rajput palaces, Maharaja Umaid Singh of the Marwar-Rathore Dynasty generously commissioned the palace to give employment to his famine-stricken people after that Mandore Garden. Evening time get back to the hotel .Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

  After breakfast check out from Camp and will move for City Rajasthan Jaisalmer first we will visit the Jaisalmer Fort which is made by unique Golden Lime stone, that’s why its known as Golden Fort or Sonar Kella. After that visit Patwon-ki-haveli, Nathmal-ki-haveli. Salim singh-ki-Haveli. People still live in these ancient buildings dating from 12th to 15th century. Every house has exquisite carvings and filigreed work. After that also visit Gadishar Lake evening time check in the hotel Overnight stay at jodhpur City.
