Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Madurai and Transfer to Kodaikanal

  In the morning, arrive at Madurai. You can take a flight, train, or bus to reach Madurai. From Madurai, Kodaikanal is approximately 120 km away and takes around 3–4 hours by road. On the way, you can enjoy scenic views as you travel through the hills. Once you arrive, check-in at your hotel in Kodaikanal and relax. You can spend the evening exploring the local market or take a leisurely walk around the area.

• Day 2 : Local Sightseeing in Kodaikanal

  Start your day with a visit to the famous Kodaikanal Lake. You can enjoy a boat ride here while taking in the views of the lake. After that, head to Coaker’s Walk, a beautiful walking path with breathtaking views of the valley and mountains. In the afternoon, visit Pillar Rocks, which consists of three giant rock formations offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Then, head to Bryant Park, a serene park filled with various flower species, perfect for a relaxing stroll. Return to the hotel in the evening, and you can explore the local shops or visit Chettiar Park for a peaceful evening.

• Day 3 : More Exploration of Kodaikanal

  In the morning, start with a visit to Silver Cascade Falls, a beautiful waterfall located around 8 km from the city. Afterward, head to Dolphin's Nose, a viewpoint that offers stunning views of the valley below. In the afternoon, visit Green Valley View, another beautiful spot with panoramic views of the mountains and valleys. For a touch of local history, visit Shenbaganur Museum to see the local flora and fauna. In the evening, spend time at Kurinji Andavar Temple, dedicated to Lord Murugan, and enjoy the views of the surrounding hills.
