The Adventures Beyond 3 Day 4 wheel drive Kakadu and Arnhemland adventure has a strong emphasis on Aboriginal culture. It is a trip aimed at the fit, adventurous traveller that is after a real adventure. Generally the age group is 18-45 but if you are a serious adventurer and older then that is fine.

Departing on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday this adventure tour of Kakadu showcases Jim JIm Falls, Twin Falls, Ubirr Rock, bushwalking, swiming in waterholes, exploring amazing waterfalls and beyond. It is physically active and involves camping, hiking and swimming in waterholes.

All food, water, tents, swags, transport, entry fees and activites are included in this action packed adventure.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Crocodile and Wildlife Cruise, Aboriginal Rock Art and More

  Starting from Darwin at 6.30am we head straight to Corroboree Billabong for a wldlife and Crocodile cruise on the wetlands. We visit Ubirr and look at the aboriginal rock art and views over Arnhembland, we have lunch on the banks of the East Alligator river before we visit Bowali information centre the Kakadu Headquarters before camping overnight at our private safari campsite with an amazing tasting plate BBQ of buffalo, crocodile and kangaroo.

• Day 2 : Kakadu, Waterfalls and Plunge Pools

  Day 2 of your 4 wheel drive Kakadu adventure tour we have an early rise to make the most of the day where we explore Twin Falls, with a hike to the top of the esarpment to avoid the crowds and swim in the pristine pools. We visit Jim Jim Falls swimming in the rockpools surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs. Enjoy a tasty lunch, and after an amazing day we again camp at Garnamarr at the base of the escarpment for a great night with your fellow travellers sharing stories and experiences.

• Day 3 : Kakadu Sights, Adventure and More

  Day 3 of your 4 wheel drive Kakadu adventure tour we have another day of adventure and excitement. Kakadu is amazing and today you will explore Barramundi Gorge, swim in more plunge pools and get out and about to the White Lily Billabong. We visit the Warradjan Cultural centre, take a short walk or 2 and take in the scenery on our last day in Kakadu, before we drop you to the accommodation in Jabiru where you can relax, regroup and get ready for the final day of adventure in Arnhemland.

• Day 4 : Arnhemland and Aboriginal Experience

  This final day of adventure is in Arnhemland. You are picked up from your Jabiru accommodation for the 1 day Arnhemland experience where you visit the aboriginal lands and a traditional Aboriginal guide will show you expamples of rock art on Injalak Hill which some say has the best examples of rock art in Western Arnhemland. You will farewell your aboriginal guide at lunch time and visit the local Injalak art and craft centre, a not for profit Aboriginal organisation. During the afternoon you will have access into the valley where there are stunning billabongs, birds and escarpments. It is a true tast of the Northern Territory. You return to Darwin at around 7-8pm.
