After enjoying breakfast, you’ll set off for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, located about 120 kilometers from Arusha—a scenic 2-hour drive. Despite being the sixth-largest park in Tanzania, Tarangire is packed with wildlife and offers far more than meets the eye. Known for its vast elephant population, it also provides superb birdwatching opportunities all year round. As you traverse the savannah, you’ll not only spot large game but also discover fascinating smaller creatures along the way. In the late afternoon, you’ll head to your lodge in Karatu for a relaxing evening, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park Game Drive

Following an early breakfast, your guide from Kojuu Safaris will pick you up and drive you through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to Serengeti National Park for an unforgettable game viewing experience. Serengeti, spanning nearly 15,000 square kilometers, is known for its vast "endless plains," as the Maasai call it, and is a must-visit destination for every traveler seeking the thrill of wildlife. The sheer volume of animals, including the renowned Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—will leave you in awe. In addition to witnessing the annual migration of wildebeest and zebras, you’ll be treated to stunning landscapes and an incredible variety of wildlife species. As the day winds down, you’ll head to your lodge inside the park for a peaceful evening, dinner, and a well-deserved rest.

As the sound of Africa arouses you from sleep, you will freshen up and go to the main area for breakfast. After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up and drive to the park for a full-day game drive. If you love animals, then the Serengeti is a good place to be. Here, you will find the real Mufasa, Nala, Simba, and Scar, thanks to the Disney film “The Lion King”.

There are around 3,000 lions living in the Serengeti ecosystem. They are relatively easy to spot, not just because of their numbers, but also because they like to sleep under trees for hours each day. In fact, lions can lounge around for about 20 hours a day. The Serengeti also has bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, birds like kori bustards and Fischer’s lovebirds, and many others. Later in the evening, you will drive back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Have an early breakfast and then drive to the 8th Wonder of the World for a full-day game. The Ngorongoro Crater, also known as “Africa’s Garden of Eden", is a well-preserved natural phenomenon that has become a sanctuary for all kinds of wildlife. It is 190km from Arusha town. Here, you will find many reasons why you chose to come on safari.

The crater was a volcanic caldera full of grassland, forest, and swamp, a setting of jaw-dropping beauty. The permanent water in the crater floor supports a resident population of more than 25,000 large mammals including leopard, lion, black rhino, hyena, zebra, waterbuck, baboon, and many others. Soon after, you'll ascend from the crater floor and drive to your hotel in Arusha booked by yourself for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
