4-Day Nyerere NP Boat Safari, Game Drive, Walking Safari

Package Overview

Have you ever spotted wild animals while walking in the bush? If you haven't (or have), this safari package is for you. The package offers a 1-2 punch: two full days of game drive, a river boat safari and a walking safari. That's correct, a walking safari where you get to walk among these majestic wild animals. Nothing to worry as you will be in the care of our guide and an armed guard. Just follow their lead and instructions and you will create memories which will remain with you for life.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : May the fun begin, The Boat Safari Experience

  -You'll be collected from the airport.
  
  -Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
  
  -This midrange safari experience will start with Duteni picking you up from the Dar Es Salaam Ferry (if coming from Zanzibar) or from Dar Es Salaam International Airport or from a Dar Es Salaam area hotel
  
  - Transfer you to Nyerere National Park from Dar es Salaam (About a 4-5 hour drive)
  
  - Arrive at Nyerere National Park, check into lodge outside of the park, have lunch and rest
  
  - You will have your briefing with guide and then leave for your river boat safari around 4pm
  
  - You will enjoy a sundowner (if possible) on a sandbar on the Rufiji River
  
  - We will then drive you back to hotel/camp for dinner, rest and overnight stay.

  * Accommodation: Selous Riverside Safari Camp, Mid-range tented camp located just outside Nyerere NP
  
  *Meals & Drinks: All meals included, Drinks not included

• Day 2 : A day to Create Lifelong Memories: Full Day Game Drive

  - You will depart early morning for an exciting full day safari with packed lunch out in the bush
  
  -This is your chance to get closer to nature and the majestic wild animals. You have a pretty good chance of seeing giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, impalas, warthogs, zebras, cape buffaloes, kudus & countless other wild animals and birds. With a bit of luck, you might be able to encounter lions, leopards etc
  
  - Your game drive will end early evening. You may see more animals as you head back to your hotel/camp.
  
  *Main Destination: Nyerere National Park
  
  *Accommodation: Selous Riverside Safari Camp, Mid-range tented camp located just outside Nyerere NP
  
  *Meals & Drinks: All meals included, Drinks not included

  • Themes Adventure, Bird Watching, Jeep Safari, Elephant Safari, Game Drives
• Day 3 : Oh the wild, another full day of game drive

  - Today you will start early in the morning. It will be another day of exciting experiences
  
  - After breakfast your guide will brief you for the game drive
  
  - You will enjoy an amazing game drive searching for the Big 4 and enjoying the majestic scenery of Nyerere National Park
  
  -You have the option to swim in a natural hot spring while on your game drive (no extra charge)
  
  - You will have a hot lunch in the bush and return in time for dinner at your lodge.

  *Accommodation: Selous Riverside Safari Camp, Mid-range tented camp located just outside Nyerere NP
  
  *Meals & Drinks: All meals included, Drinks not included

  • Themes Adventure, Bird Watching, Jungle Safari, Game Drives
• Day 4 : Get ready and get closer to wild animals: Walking Safari

  -The day will start early around 6 or 7 AM
  
  -You can choose to have your breakfast before or after the walk. Coffee and biscuits will be offered before the walk
  
  - With a guide and an armed guard you will leave to start your walking safaris
  
  -You have nothing to worry about as our team is very experienced in handling walking safaris
  
  - Enjoy your exhilarating walk in the bush among the majestic animals
  
  - The walking safari will last for approximately 2 hours
  
  - Once the walk is over, you will return to your hotel for freshening up and breakfast
  
  - You will thereafter depart for Dar Es Salaam by private transportation.
