Have time to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park and trek chimoanzees during this safari, go for a boat-cruise on Kazinga channel, enjoy an early morning game-drive, trek chimps in Kalinzu forest and relax by the lodge enjoying the magnificent view over Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Start early to get out of Kampala before traffic jam, stop for a coffee break and photo poses at the equator. Lunch in Mbarara or at the lodge depending on time. Drive through some villages with cultivated areas until the lush green tea estates in a rich green belt before the escarpment. Check in and enjoy magnificent endless views from your overnight place as the sun sets. Alternatively you can have an evening game drive before retiring the day.
After breakfast we head over to Kalinzu forest to trek chimps and enjoy the jungle. After the trekking drive back to the lodge for lunch. When having finished lunch we get ready for the Classic highlights on the 2hrs Boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel at 3pm, this is a 36kms channel linking Lake George - Lake Edward. Here you can see land and water Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning and some slashing canines to each other and the National Geographical society Killing machine the Nile Crocodile gaping along the Banks and Savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba of the award winning Lion King are a hallmark sign in this Animal home of Mamaland Uganda. With your Binoculars along the peninsula you have a magnificent view of Birds and animals like the ever playing African Elephants in Waters as we sigh and reset Fatigue and stress, to point zero.
Discover Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning, an early game-drive in the Kasenyi area that exposes us to diverse animals, Big 5 members Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards more times in the evening, warthogs and Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along the Circuits as we drive along. There is a rich bird life especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the Flamingoes in the salt lakes at Kasenyi. In the afternoon you can relax by the lodge or take a community walk to see the nearby village and Crater Lake
Have a relaxed breakfast appreciating the views from the lodge one last time before embarking on the drive back to Kampala. Stop for lunch in Masaka and continue on to Kampala.
