  Nestled in the Vindhya Hills of Madhya Pradesh, The park is famous for its population of Royal Bengal Tigers, which roam freely in the park’s dense forests and grasslands. Spread over an area of 437squarekilometers, Bandhavgarh National Park was established in 1968. The park is divided into four zones–Tala, Magdhi, Khitauli, and Panpatha – with Tala being the most popular and frequented by visitors. Tala is also the zone where the highest number of tiger sightings take place, making it a favorite among wildlife photographers and enthusiasts.
  
  Apart from the park’s wildlife, Bandhavgarh National Park is also known for its rich cultural heritage. The park is home to the Bandhavgarh Fort, which is believed to be over 2000 years old. The fort has several ancient temples and caves that are worth exploring. In addition, the park has several prehistoric caves that are believed to have been inhabited by humans over 10,000 years ago.
