Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kuala Namu International Airport – Bukit Lawang / 4,5 – 5 Hrs Rive

  Arrive at the Kuala Namu International airport with flight…
  We will fetch you and depart to Bukit Lawang the observation point of the Orangutans located in Gunung Leuser National Park through by landscape with vast view of palm oil and rubber plantation. En-route stops at of rubber, oil palm and cacao plantations with some countryside landscape.
  Arrive in Timbang Lawan village (around 3 km before Buikt Lawang), here you will stay at Timbang Lawan Homestay for 3 nights. This is a simle homestay, located surrounding villagers community.
  Lunch and dinner are included

• Day 2 : Timbang Lawan Excursions

  An early start this morning as you take a short trek (1.5hr – easy) to Landak River – home to around 15 isolated Orangutan. Travelling through a variety of eco systems, learn the steps taken by local communities in the reforestation and conservation of these areas. Here you will also learn and experience the ‘tapping’ of rubber trees.
  Next activity is visiting the village rice fields where you will learn how to prepare the rice fields for planting with the aid of a buffalo. Here you will plough the muddy fields, saw the rice and learn about the processes and harvesting methods of agriculture on the fringes of the jungle (noted: these activities depending on the season rice planting in this village)

• Day 3 : Orangutans Trekking

  After breakfast, you will be taken by motorized becak to Bukit Lawang, around 20 minutes drive.
  Upon arrival you will make a short 3 hrs jungle trekking where you can see the semi or wild Orangutans. Steep, slopes and dense vegetation will bring you to the excitement of the Sumatra rainforest. Here you have the opportunity to see several species of indigenous flora and fauna. Walkers must be fit and have suitable, large profile shoes.
  The rest is your own programs, you can swim or take a beautiful walk to the local village nearby.
  After ungle trekking, you will return to your homestay by motorized becak, overnight stay and dinner.

• Day 4 : Bukit Lawang - Kuala Namu International Airport

  Today you drive back to Medan for catch your flight to next destination. End of your Orangutans tour through us.
