Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : airport to nairobi parkside hotel

  after breakfast drive to mountain kenya central region with stop overs for viewing including the equator and nanyuki town where we meet our crew[guide,cook,porters].
  after packing our fresh supplies we drive to sirimon park gate[2675 meters] ,after clearance at the gate and lunch, have acclimatization walk for 3-4 hours to old moses camp [3300 meters] this hike is very ideal for preparation of the trekkers next days of trekking.dinner and overnight at the camp

• Day 2 : old moses camp to shiptons camp [4200 meters]

  after breakfast hike through the moorland towards the mackinders valley.hiking takes 7- 8 hours.this day we have packed lunch. the group walks together with our guide as the leader.upon arrival at shiptons camp,we are met with hot drink and this day dinner is served early so that trekkers sleep early in readiness to the following day ascending to the summit [peak lenana-4985 meters]

• Day 3 : shiptons camp to lenana and old moses camp

  pre-dawn[03;00 am] ascend the summit peak lenana 4985 meters ,trekkers are at the summit by sunrise,later its very cold and windy remember this is the second highest point in africa.on a clear day mt.kilimanjaro and indian ocean are visible. after photo session,descend via the camp for breakfast and short rest and descend further to old moses camp.
  dinner and overnight in the camp.

  after breakfast descend the forest with a chance of game viewing to connect our transfer back to nairobi
