Ol pejeta conservancy is situated on the equator west of Nanyuki, between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy works to conserve wildlife, provide a sanctuary for great apes and rhinos. its hosts a high concentration of wild animals and the big five can be seen here.

Meru National Park is wild and beautiful. Straddling the equator and bisected by 13 rivers and numerous mountain-fed streams, it is an especially beautiful area of Kenya. It has diverse scenery from woodlands to wide open plains with meandering riverbanks dotted with doum palms.
The Park is most famous as the setting for Joy Adamson’s book “Born Free”, the story of the Adamson’s life and research amongst lion and cheetah. “Elsa” the lioness was the most well-known and her grave is marked hereTips, alcohol and beverages, laundry , insurance and any other item not mentioned above.10-1231-03

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi - Meru National park

  Depart at 0800hrs for Meru National park arriving at Ikweta safari camp in time for lunch. After lunch and some relaxation go for an afternoon gamedrive where you are likely to see the big five and different bird species. Meals and overnight at Ikweta Safari Camp

  • Meals & Drinks : Lunch and dinner.

• Day 2 : Full day game drive

  After breakfast depart with packed lunch for a full day of gamedrive. Back to camp late afternoon or early evening. Meals and overnight at the camp.

  • Meals & Drinks : breakfast, lunch and dinner

• Day 3 : Meru - Ol Pejeta Conservancy

  After breakfast depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy. On arrival check in at Sweetwaters tented camp.
  Ol Pejeta boasts an astounding variety of animals including non-indigenous chimpanzees and the Big Five. It’s also one of the largest sanctuaries for the black rhinos. Accommodation and Meals at Sweet waters tented camp.

  • Meals & Drinks : breakfast, lunch and dinner

• Day 4 : ol pejeta conservancy - Nairobi

  After breakfast and checking out go for an extensive morning gamedrive then leave for Nairobi to arrive late afternoon.
