Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : REACH PARO AND TRANSFER TO THIMPHU(APPROX 1HR DRIVE) & SIGHTSEEING

  After arrival at Paro International Airport, meet with the licensed tour guide and complete the immigration formalities. Then transfer to Thimphu the capital of Bhutan and on arrival check-in at the hotel and visit:-
  Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang) ) - The largest seated Buddha statue (169ft) in the country is Located a short drive from Thimphu city.
  King's Memorial Chorten was erected in 1974 in memory of Jigme Dorji Wangchuck, 3rd Druk Gyalpo, who had died in 1972.
  Trashichhoedzong the central administration center of Bhutan and the picturesque fortress of pride,
  The National Library that house thousand of historical manuscripts and facts in thick volumes about the history of Bhutan,
  The evening time can be spent in the Coronation Park below the National Stadium housing the architectural statue of the walking Buddha.
  Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Thimphu. (Altitude 2,320m) . .

• Day 2 : THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING

  After breakfast, visit:
  Simply Bhutan Museum - Museum resembling a Bhutanese village, featuring traditional cuisine, demonstrations & performances.
  Takin Preserve Center at Motithang a small zoo housing the unique and rare ship-like animal which is the national animal of Bhutan,
  Changangkha Lhakhang the religious monastery housing the religious scholars and young monks,
  BBS Tower Viewpoint which gives you the picturesque view of the Tashichoedzong and the surrounding valleys,
  Bhutan Postal Museum
  Jhungshi Handmade Paper Factory
  Institute of Zorig Chusum
  National Textile Museum
  Institute of Tradition Medicine
  Evening time visit the Government-run Handicrafts Emporium and local crafts bazaar and take a stroll through the city area.
  Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Thimphu. (Altitude 2,320m) . .

• Day 3 : PUNAKHA EXCURSION (4 HRS DRIVE)

  After breakfast, drive to Punakha en-route visit:
  Dochu La Pass. Located at a height of 3,088m/ 10,130 ft, Dochula is a beautiful scenic point housing 108 beautiful Chorten(Stupa), circular mani(Prayer wheel) wall, and prayer flags which decorates this highest point.
  On arrival visit;
  Punakha Dzong(The Palace of Great Happiness)
  Longest Suspension Bridge measuring 180 meters in length
  Then return back to Thimphu and stay overnight.

• Day 4 : DRIVE TO PARO HIKE TO TIGER'S NEST ( 6 HRS HIKE)

  After breakfast, drive to Paro and go for the Hike to the Tak-tshang(Tiger's Nest) Monastery (900 feet above the ground level) perched in between the cliff and one of the most popular pilgrimage site and hiking trail. The Monastery commands a beautiful view of the valleys surrounding and below it.
  Evening time can be spent exploring handicrafts & gift stores to purchase gifs and mementos to remember the memorable trip to Bhutan later in your life.
  Overnight stay at the hotel in Paro(Altitude 2,280m).

• Day 5 : "FINAL ADIEU" - FAREWELL & DEPARTURE

  After the hearty breakfast early, check out of the hotel and drive to Paro International Airport and there we bid you farewell and final adieu with an undying hope of your visiting our country again to explore the unvisited parts and regions with many more adventures together.
