Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi - Arrival

  On arriving in Delhi, get transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Delhi - Leh

  Next morning, get an assisted transfer to the hotel to catch a flight to Leh. On arrival, check into the hotel. Spend the day getting acclimatized to the high altitude of Leh.Afternoon is fixed to cover Shankar Gompa, around 3 kms from the town. This Gompa, belonging to Gelukpa Sect, is also the residence of its head of Ladakh. Overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Leh

  Post breakfast, you will start exploring the numerous Gompas. You will cover Spituk ,Phiyang , AlchiGompa, LikirGompa. These are extremely popular ancient Buddhist monasteries of the region. Overnight stay in the hotel.

• Day 4 : Leh

  Post breakfast, the day is again booked for visits to the other popular monasteries such as Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Monastery. Hemis is the wealthiest as well as the oldest Gompa of the region. Overnight stay in the hotel.

• Day 5 : Leh - Delhi (Departure)

  After having your breakfast, you are going to get an assisted transfer to the domestic airport of Leh for boarding a flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, you will get an assisted transfer to the international airport for boarding a flight for onward destination.
