The Silk Road was an ancient network of trade routes that connected the East and West. It was central to cultural interaction between the regions for many centuries. The Silk Road primarily refers to the terrestrial routes connecting East Asia and Southeast Asia with East Africa, West Asia and Southern Europe.
The Silk Road derives its name from the lucrative trade in silk carried out along its length, beginning in the Han dynasty (207 BCE–220 CE). The Han dynasty expanded the Central Asian section of the trade routes around 114 BCE through the missions and explorations of the Chinese imperial envoy Zhang Qian.The Chinese took great interest in the safety of their trade products and extended the Great Wall of China to ensure the protection of the trade route.
Day 1 : New Jalpaiguri to Silerygaon

Day 2 : Transfer from Sillery Gaon to Mankheem
Early Morning visit Pine Forest, Ramite View Point, Dhamsang Ford by walk in Sillery Gaon. After breakfast Transfer to Mankhim covering Reshi Khola, Q khola etc. Towering over the village of Dalapchand is the scenically beautiful hilltop destination known as Mankhim. Located near to the popular tourist hot spot known as Aritar, this pristine land mass offers tourists with a vantage point to take in some of the most breathtaking sights and sounds of the region. The hilltop looms large over the Lampokhri Lake, giving sightseers a bedazzling view of its emerald green waters. Mankhim also provides onlookers with a spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjungha. The panoramic spectacle of the mountains is interspersed with a monastery and a small temple aloft the hilltop, which make for a tranquil retreat from the ensuing din of city life in the plains far below. Day 3 : Transfer Mankheem to Zuluk
After Early Breakfast Traveler Transfer to Zuluk. Located At a Height of Around 10,100 Feet On the Rugged Terrain of the Lower Himalayas in East Sikkim, Zuluk or Dzuluk is a Small Village Beside a Winding Road. It Was Once a Transit Point to the Historic Silk Route from Tibet to India. It is Relatively An Emerging and Offbeat Destination in East Sikkim. this Small Village Accommodates a Population of Around 700 People. There is also An Indian Army Base At Zuluk, Which Has Been Used as a Transit Camp for the Army Movement to the Chinese Border, a Few Kilometres Away. It is the Very First Village Within this Whole Silk Route Circuit to Offer Home-stay Facilities for Tourists. Zuluk Itself Does Not Offer Views of the Snow Peaks But Only 14 Kms Away the Thambi View Point Offers a Panoramic View of the Entire Mt. Kanchenjungha Range.over Night Stay At Zuluk.
Day 4 : Transfer from Zuluk to Padamchen
Post breakfast transfer to Padamchen covering gnathang Kupuk Lake, Thambi View Point, Gilapla Pass, Baba Mandir, Helipad, Kupuk Market etc. Overnight stay at Padamchen.
Day 5 : Drop to New Jalpaiguri
Post breakfast check out from hotel and drop to New Jalpaiguri Station or Bagdogra Airport with an landscaping memory of silk route.
