Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, celebrated with the grand Esala Perahera annual procession.

Colombo is the commercial capital and largest city of Sri Lanka by population. According to the Brookings Institution, Colombo metropolitan area has a population of 5.6 million, and 752,993 in the Municipality. It is the financial centre of the island and a tourist destination.

Bentota - Town in Sri Lanka
Bentota is a resort town on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast. Its long Bentota Beach stretches north, where it becomes a sandy strip known as Paradise Island, parallel to Bentota Lagoon. Coral-rich dive sites include Canoe Rock. On Bentota River, centuries-old Galapota Temple has a large Buddha statue. Southeast is Lunuganga, the estate and gardens of architect Geoffrey Bawa. Northeast is his brother Bevis's Brief Garden.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Sri Lanka – Kandy

  Welcome to Colombo! Our representative will meet you at the Bandaranaike International Airport and then you’ll be escorted to your vehicle to begin your holiday in Sri Lanka.

• Day 2 : Kandy

  After enjoying a hearty breakfast, Upon the clearance of your PCR, begin your journey visiting one of the world heritages sites as well as a sacred place for the Buddhists all over the world; namely the Temple of Tooth Relic known in Sri Lanka as Dalada Maligawa. Then you will proceed to the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens which is a paradise for nature lovers. This beautiful flower Eden is restored with over 300 different varieties of orchids, other spices, medicinal plants, and Palm trees. Every year more than 1.2 million people are enchanted by the beauty of these 147-acre flower gardens. Later in the afternoon visit Gem shop and enjoy a cultural show.

• Day 3 : Kandy – Bentota

  After enjoying a hearty breakfast, start your journey towards Bentota, the city of the Golden Beaches. You will be able to relax and feel the spirit of the sea and the warmth of the soft sand. Your day will be divided between swimming in the water and relaxing on the beach. Bentota provides the perfect turf for an unfurled vacation at the beach.
  En-route you can visit one of the most important tourist attractions in Sri Lanka, the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Volunteers and caretakers provide shelter and take care of orphaned, abandoned, and injured elephants within the park. You can watch caretakers feed, bathe, and help these animals. You can also walk with the herd to the nearby river to watch the elephants bathe and play around in water.

• Day 4 : Bentota - Colombo

  After enjoying a hearty breakfast, Proceed towards Colombo the commercial capital of Sri Lanka. Located on the west coast, it is a busy and vibrant city with a mixture of modern and colonial impressions. Colombo has wildly varying architecture that span centuries and depict various styles. Many colonial buildings influenced by the Portuguese, Dutch and British exist alongside structures built in Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Indian, and Contemporary architectural styles. No other place is this more evident in the heart of the city the Fort area. Colombo also boasts many shoppingmalls and department stores that offer brand name clothing at highly discounted prices. Therefore, it has become an important shopping destination among tourists.
