Amboseli National Park is famous for its big game - elephants, lions and cheetahs are the main attractions - and for its great scenery beauty. Lake Nakuru National Park which covers 180 sq km. The park is home to warthogs, water buck, buffaloes, reed bucks, and the occasional leopard. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi - Amboseli

  Transfer to Amboseli National Park, famous for its big game - elephants, lions and cheetahs are the main attractions - and for its great scenery beauty. Amboseli embodies five main wildlife habitats, plus a generally dry lake-bed - Lake Amboseli. These are open plains; extensive stands of yellow-barked acacia woodland; rocky, lava strewn thorn-bush country; swamps and marshes; and at the western end of the reserve, above Namanga, the massif of Ol Doinyo Orok rising to over 2,760m (8.300ft) and still for the most part zoologically unexplored. Enjoy your afternoon game drive at Amboseli National Park. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli.

• Day 2 : Amboseli - Lake Nakuru

  Depart after your morning breakfast for Lake Nakuru. Enjoy your evening game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. Lake Nakuru National Park which covers 180 sq km. The park is home to warthogs, water buck, buffaloes, reed bucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you may find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here. Full board accommodation included in the tour price Dinner and overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

• Day 3 : Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara

  Depart after your morning breakfast for Masai Mara Game Reserve. Wherever you go in the Mara you will see a frequent amount of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyena, topis, impala, wildebeest. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras and hippos also exist in great numbers. It is also common to see lions either basking after a heavy meal, or surveying the plains for their next meal. Cheetahs and leopards are harder to spot but are still reasonably common. The ultimate action here is without doubt the annual wildebeest exodus in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from the Serengeti in search of lusher grass before turning south again in October. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Maasai Mara.

• Day 4 : Maasai Mara

  Enjoy your full day of game viewing at Masai Mara Game Reserve. Balloon trips are an entirely outstanding way of seeing the savannah plains and the wildlife after which you come back down for a beautiful champagne breakfast. These trips can be arranged at our office upon booking. Full board accommodation is included in the tour price. Dinner and overnight AA Lodge Maasai Mara.

• Day 5 : Maasai Mara to Nairobi

  Enjoy your early morning game viewing. Head back to Nairobi and later transfer to the Airport.
