We lead with day Safari, followed by a night safari and end with an immersive cultural experience. While safari is about seeing wild animals in their natural habitats, this adventure package at Nyerere National Park takes it a step further by adding some optional local activities such as visiting local school, spear throwing, traditional dance/drumming lessons etc. It is ideal for those who are looking for unique African experiences. -You'll be collected from the airport.
-Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
-This midrange safari experience will start with Duteni picking you up from the Dar Es Salaam Ferry (if coming from Zanzibar) or from Dar Es Salaam International Airport or from a Dar Es Salaam area hotel
-Transfer you to Nyerere National Park from Dar es Salaam (About a 4-5 hour drive)
- Arrive at Nyerere National Park, check into lodge outside of the park, have lunch and rest
- You will have your briefing with guide and then leave for your river boat safari around 4pm
-You will enjoy a sundowner (if possible) on a sandbar on the Rufiji River
- We will then drive you back to hotel/camp for dinner, rest and overnight stay.

- You will depart early morning for an exciting full day safari with packed lunch out in the bush
- This is your chance to get closer to nature and the majestic wild animals. You have a pretty good chance of seeing giraffes, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, impalas, warthogs, zebras, cape buffaloes, kudus & countless other wild animals and birds. With a bit of luck, you might be able to encounter lions, leopards etc
- Your game drive will end early evening. You may see more animals as you head back to your hotel/camp.

- Today you will start early in the morning. It will be another day of exciting experiences
- After breakfast your guide will take you on an amazing game drive searching for the Big 4 and enjoying the majestic scenery of Nyerere National Park
- You have the option to swim in a natural hot spring while on your game drive (no extra charge)
- You will have a hot lunch in the bush and return in time for dinner at your lodge.

- Today in the morning you will be taken for a village(s) tour. The tour offers you a memorable opportunity to mingle with the villagers who have lived in the area for generations and learn about their history, culture, traditions and way of life
- Alternatively, rather than doing a village tour you could go for one or more (if time allows) of our other popular local experiences (a small surcharge may apply)
- You will then stop for lunch
- Early evening we will pick you up and take you to an experience which is sure to leave lasting impression on you…our in high demand Night Safari! During the night safari you will get a chance to see lots of nocturnal animals, rodents, birds and a variety of mammals that you don’t normally see during the day. Our highly skilled safari guides take you on a wild yet safe, meticulous ride, searching and spotting all the amazing wildlife & activities that happen in the wild after sunset. The night safari will last for about 4 hours.

- The day will start early around 6 or 7 AM
- You can choose to have your breakfast before or after the walk. Coffee and biscuits will be offered before the walk
- With a guide and an armed guard, you will leave to start your walking safaris
- You have nothing to worry about as our team is very experienced in handling walking safaris- Enjoy your exhilarating walk in the bush among the majestic animals
- The walking safari will last for approximately 2 hours
- Once the walk is over, you will return to your hotel for freshening up and breakfast
- You will thereafter depart for Dar Es Salaam by private transportation.
